Went from Iowa to DC. Drove from DC back to Iowa, then on to LA. Saw the country, lived in motels with Toby, took tons of pictures. Been gainfully unemployed (but still taking lots of pictures) ever since.

Got knocked up, went to Wisconsin, dad got sick, took on a lot of responsibilities, trying to keep my head above the water.

    Hmmm.

I think I'll sum it up as the year of "ME."

I've lost 30lbs, and working on all things Nola health related. I've travel to Spain, Santa Barbara, San Fran(Napa) and many more planned for next year. I've tried to count my blessings everyday, even when it's something small. I've also learned to accept me for how I am, flaws and all.

    For 2011:

I'm trying to live in the moment because your life can take a turn so fast.
Trying to remember that grass is not always green on the other side.
Contine to laugh and smile everyday.

Ok. I know I went over the word limit. What's new, right?

Enjoyed maternity leave. Blinked and missed Desmond's infancy. Work, dinner, bath, bed, repeat. Then end of year birthday birthday anniversary birthday birthday christmas whammy.  Ending on a very high note - everyone's sleeping and we're all SO much happier!

    Taw, you are not boring.

Me, however...sat at home, stared at a computer, got older.  The end.

Zilla, you, L&R and HE's 2010 really brought it home that you never know when it can happen. I knew that you can never say never, but it shows when you least expect it your greatest blessing can come into you life.

    So happy for you all.:)

Avoided work, played on computer, made new friends, lost some friends.  Visited Maine, came home and avoided work again.

Moved to new house - much more room, awesome kitchen, better commute.  Almost got kickass federal position (instead of contractor) - office politics got in way.  Best supervisor ever retiring as of today.  New position still a possiblity - hoping it will happen early next year.  Life still pretty good all around.

Found a house, bough it, moved in, enjoyed decorating.  Realized baby-making was even harder than we thought.  Lost a pregnancy, were blessed with another pregnancy...ending the year much better off than we began it...excluding the endless car repairs.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    That one threw me, too!

Um - wrote a novel, got to be a cantor, got a haircut, dropped off and picked up.

Yeah. That was my year. I'm a thrilling individual.
