What registry Item do you NEED most?

Going off of the post below, what is the thing you NEED the most from your registry. I know we’ve done the ‘Show me your favorite registry item,’ but I feel like your favorite and what you need most are probably different.

We truly need our flatware. Right now we have a cheap set from Target that I got when I went away to college and needless to say, we’re down to like 4 spoons. It’s ridiculous.

I’m also really excited about our salt keeper bowl. I know this sounds really dumb, but right now our we have a huge box of the Diamond Kosher salt (the best kind – don’t by anything else), and I always end up pouring out way more than I need and waste so much of it. I can’t wait to be able to just grab a little pinch!!

For us Sheets and Towel. My sheets are ripping on the corners because they don't fit over the pillow top but I force it. My towels are fom college or Target and should be dog towels at this point.

We need towels! We're moving into our house in March and we don't have 1 towel. We also need a washer and dryer but I don't think I can register for that.

We need the vacuum cleaner. We registered for a Dyson Animal. The one we have right now, my step-mom gave me when I went off to college. It puts off a fould odor every time we use it. I've had to replace several parts on it and it still doesn't pick up my dog's hair very well.

I cannot PIP from work but it is flatware for us also.

The set we have currently was my mom's two sets ago that went to college with me and everything.
It is the kind that has like white plastic or something attached to the handles. They were nice at one time, but now they are discolored and the handles are starting to come apart on several. I don't even think there is a complete service for four at this point.

We need almost everything because a lot of FI's stuff at his apartment is either borrowed from people who expect it back once we get married or older than Methuselah. Especially his toaster. It's pathetic and I'm worried about it being a fire hazard.

We're in the same place as Midge and Chelsea, we need pretty much everything as our stuff is either hand-me-down, really old or starting to become very incomplete due to breakages and losing things.

We need bowls. We have three because over time some have gotten chipped or broken. FI eats cherrios every single morning so its like we never have a clean bowl.

I also really want the new flatware is so old and we are also down to very little spoons.

We need a lot of stuff because we got the bare minimum when we moved in together in August. I desperately need the Kitchenaid mixer though. I love to bake and have a cheap hand mixer that's gonna crap out any day now

In all honesty, we don't *need* anything on our registry, at least not right now. While having more towels would be nice, most of what we have on there is either something we'd like or something we will upgrade with once we move into a house. The hardest part is going to be not being able to use most of our stuff for 2 years! FI actually didn't want to do registries at first, because his family is Italian and Italians give money. My family isn't Italian, though, and likes to give gifts. Once I found out that Amazon does registries he was fine (he didn't want store registries where you're limited to what you can register for; he loves doing research before buying anything).

I guess we don't NEED anything but I ruin our kitchen almost everytime I make coffee because the stupid filter thing gets knocked off track so the coffee/tea machine is up there for us.

Our bed spread. Right now we have only have a thin blanket that basically is only long enough to cover the top of the bed so all night long all we do is steal the blanket from each other. It's been so hard not just buying it ourselves because it's frequently 70% off.

Also, the dishes. I am SO TIRED of using mismatched dishes that are chipped and broken.

There isn't a single thing on our registry that we NEED. Maybe the new shower head, but that's only bc I don't really like ours. That being said, there are several things that we really want. For me, it's the Kuering, the kitchen aid miixer, and the shark for our hardwoods. FI just wants money and home depot/lowe's gift cards. We are looking at building onto our house shortly after the wedding so those would come in handy!

FI thinks I'm crazy when I tell him that scratching our nonstick pans is going to give us cancer haha. I know it won't really, but I'm looking forward to our stainless steel pots and pans (which we can't use until we build our house).

We also really need new pots & pans! Our current pots pans are scratched up or we have a few really cheap ones from Ikea. I too worry about getting cancer from the scratched up nonstick pots and pans.

My FI is insane when it comes to pots and pans. If I take so much as a spoon near one of our non-stick he freaks out on me, even if I didn't touch the metal.

I don't personally care about the cancer thing. It seems like they change their mind every year on what you "should" or shouldn't use. We registered for the Analon bronze...anodized aluminum non-stick.

We need storage items like this below and the metal storage shelves from Target. FI aka Mr. T-shirt has as many clothes as I do! The other needed item is sheets. We have newer fleece and flanner sheets, but most of the summer sheet are OLD!

We need almost everything! We've never lived together, so I have nothing and he has a few things, but they're older at this point. We really need all of our kitchen items because that's the only way I'm going to cook--if I have the proper supplies!

Mine are like a year and a half old so not horrible. They're from my freshman year and I got every color of the rainbow from Target haha. It'll be nice to have some towels that match our bathroom theme a little better

While we need most of the things on our registry (we are scraping by on the bare minimum in our tiny apartment), I am desperate for any of the kitchen theings we registered for. We have ONE large butcher knife and trying to cook with just that is miserable. Plus we have the world's cheapest pots and pan set that is coming apart.

We are definitely just starting out and need a lot of help.

I'm sure FI would say the coffee maker because he is sick of instant coffee...

We don't NEED anything. We have been surviving fine as is for the almost 5 years we have lived together. Just buying little things as we need them. We REALLY REALLY WANT to upgrade all the plates/bowls/dishes and flatware that is all mix and matched. My flatware has the colorful plastic handles and the little silver balls on the ends fall off and get lost some times. I would love to have a matching set of something!

FI really wants new drinking glasses. I have Libbey set with 3 different sizes that I think is fine, but he hates. He also drinks out of mason jars sometimes which I hate so we are even, just give it all away and get something we both like.

On the non- stick issue. I bought a somewhat good set a few years ago which FI has since trashed by using metal spoons and forks in! Now he wants a new set bc these are stratched. I need to get across to him that the new set will scratch too if he keeps using metal!!! so frustrating. Maybe we need a fun new set of plastic untensils to use with the non stick.

We need everything everything! FI is moving in with me because I have been on my own the longest and therefore have the most things. Most of the things I have however I've had for the past 9 years and its time to upgrade (and by upgrade I mean to what normal people use lol).

I think our sheets (purchased)

I totally understand the flatware. I was lucky and found JA Henkles sets at Tjmax/Marshalls for super cheap and purchased them. We had zero before them, some plastic stuff and then those broke. I couldn't wait til the wedding (didn't see anything I liked either) to maybe have people get them, and didn't want to spend $20 on a crappy set that would break again.
