[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Anyone want to check out my wedding website? : Better shot to kill then since a .22 has been known to bounce off people. You can do more damage with rubber bullets. I would suggest minmum 9 mm. But that is just me- In Response to Re: Anyone want to check out my wedding website? : Right?

Also, I'm failing to see how the .22 will help when she's being robbed while she's not home because she's getting married, but maybe I don't understand how guns work because we're tightasses about them where I live and I've never held one?

There's a difference between being cautious and being paranoid. Sure, anyone with sufficent patience, time and skills can track down someone's real name and address of someone posting online, but you don't have to make it easy for them. I understand if you have your information on linking sites and the link, but most of them require a login to view them. The sad truth is that there are a lot of people out there that mine your personal info. Mostly, not for stalker-ish purposes, but for advertising.

I'm not saying you should live in fear and never tell anyone anything online. I'm just saying for safety's sake, it's a good idea to exercise caution. If for no other reason to try and limit spam and junk mail.

We're not exactly "campus-adjacent" but we're close enough to a few different schools that about 1/4 of the building's population is college kids, and they appear hell-bent on ruining the nice building for everybody.

  • That is one thing about Tory that I like (among many) --- she smells amazing. It is so weird but she has this comforting puppy smell that she has kept since she was a baby. The only time she smells is after swimming in the river/lake. Even then, she only smells for like a day. I don't know what it is that makes her so non-stinky.

Since we're talking about dog baths:

Patch - we have to put him in the tub and make sure he doesn't bolt.

Pepper & Bosco - Both hate baths with the fire of a thousand suns, but they're so little they just stand there shaking at us with miserable little looks on their faces.

Lol - Would join me in the shower if I let him.

This is my impression: Goodwill is clean, organized, well lit. SA is twice as big, is like a big warehouse with stuff strewn about everywhere. And they have weird pricing. I bought an old typewriter today. Sticker price? $3.96.
