Thinking of Honeymoon to Cyprus...Anyone ever been?

We wanted to go somewhere that was less typical! I don't hear of may people going to Cyprus for a honeymoon! 
We were initially thinking Turks & Caicos Bora Bora, Fiji, Antigua...  a family member recommened Cyprus and said it was the most beautiful place he has ever seen and he has been all over the world!
We do not know anything about Cyrpus...any suggestions or reviews on Cyprus or any of the places listed above?

    which part are you looking to travel to?  my sister has been to turkish cyprus and it was really pretty  and she definetely enjoyed it.  I'm not sure about what's it's like in Greek Cyprus - i can ask if she went there as well and post back on here with additional details ( she's currently in india for a few more days)
