The people at work treat me like crap all of the time, except when they need my help to do something. Then they kiss my ass til I do it, and thank me, then go back to treating me like crap.

I also HATE when people talk about you like your not there. Like all my co-workers are doing about me right this second.

I still feel sick from the pneumonia last week

my knee still sucks from the accident in Oct. I have an ultrasound this morning to confirm a cyst

My jeep is still in the shop. It's been 2 months. I have to call the adjuster to tell her I'd appreciate if she got her info straight before getting my hopes up (telling me it might be done last Friday when it hasn't even been into paint).

I won't see my BF until Monday or Wednesday. I'm being selfish and I'm glad he's spending time with his family, but I miss him.

Haha, I did this. I went over and stood with them for a good 15 minutes. Didn't join in the conversation at all. Then casually walked away. My way of saying" I can hear everything you say bitches." They now think they are whispering, but they suck at that too. Oh well I'm going to wait for when they ask for my help, then tell them I'm busy or something.

That's why I love being the only woman in my team. I don't have to deal with gossip. The ones around my age care so little about me that they don't talk about me at all, which makes me grateful. I get along well with the older ones (those in their late 30's and above).

I know that feeling. Except in my case its just my boss. She has made it clear to everyone that she hates me and we have no idea why. But then everyone else hates her. So we're all considering filing complaints.

BF and I are not in agreement over our Christmas split family compromise. We're spending Christmas Eve with my family as it's our big celebration and his family does nothing, then we will drive to his family's on Christmas morning to spend Christmas with them. Except he keeps telling them we'll get there at 1pm - that would mean we'd have to leave by 7am, which isn't fair to my family who will want to at least open presents before we leave, so they'd have to get up at 6am. His family won't do anything differently from 1pm-3pm, so I don't get why it's a big deal on his end since we showed up at 3pm last year and dinner and gift opening still hadn't started yet. I keep telling him that it's better to say we'll get there at 3pm, so we can get up at 8am with my family and quickly open presents before leaving at 9am. Am I being unreasonable?

Also, he wants to stay until the evening of the 29th so that we have equal time between both families. In theory, that makes sense. But his family basically ignores him, so we'll end up spending a lot of time just the two of us or with his Dad, who we just saw at Thanksgiving (and who will be visiting us again in 2 months). Also, after 2 days with his family, he's always calling me to say he's annoyed with how they treat him and wants to leave. Andplusalso my brother and his girlfriend leave on the morning of the 30th, so I would get one day (Christmas Eve) with them and that's it. So I want to leave on the 28th so I can spend the 29th with my brother and his girlfriend - but it would technically give my parents 2 more days than his family has. But my parents are paying for both of our flights AND the rental car to go see his family. And life isn't equal and fair - it's the only time I'll get to go home probably until next Christmas since we're going up to Syracuse in April to visit his soon-to-be-born niece. I told him that he can go back up for 4-5 days over his spring break to spend some more alone time with his family, but he still wants to stay until the 29th.

Am I being unreasonably greedy by wanting to leave at 9am on Christmas Day and wanting to come back in the evening on the 28th?

i'm sad that target is discontinuing BOTH dinnerware sets that i wanted to put on my registry. and i have looked at several other places and haven't found anything else that i LOVE. i'm going to stalk all the targets in the area this week and see if they have the sets in store, and if they don't i'll just wait until something else comes up. but still i'm pretty upset about it.

UPDATE: i'm calling every Target in the region to see if they have them in stores. wish me luck.

I'm sad that... when I think about who I'd like to spend New Years Eve (aka My Birthday) with the only person I can confirm in my mind is BF... I've grown apart from my friends that live close to me.... and the friends I'd want to spend time with are all on the West Coast :(

I'm sad that...someone pissed on the 4th floor of my office building today. Apparently it is a homeless person who has made a habit of doing this throughout the building.
