44...say wha??

I was going to do this post yesterday but got busy. I can't believe we only have 44 days until we get married and only 40 left till we head down to New Orleans.
This is what I have left to do that I can think of...

Altering my dress (mom)
Undergarments, shoes, and jewelry for me
Jr Bridesmaids dress (mom) and her shoes
Final Items for bridesmaids bags
All groomsmen & brother (Walking me down) need to get fitted
Welcome baskets
Transportation
Timeline
Hair & Make-up - no idea who's doing these
Buy FI's ring
All Music choices
Marriage License (Week of in NOLA)
Get RSVP's back from about 40+ households.

Hopefully I can get most of this knocked out in the next 2 weeks or less. Just feels like I'm missing things. What about you ladies??

ahh i freaked out with 66 days left yesterday!!!!!!!! 44!!!!!!! just tackle what u can..ur list isnt too bad!!!! i worry that i am forgetting something

I know what you mean! I see everyone at the beginning of march at these ridiculously short countdowns... I keep thinking no that can't be right! But I keep forgetting that I'm at the end of the month!

One of my Mom's friends is doing my hair. I have no idea about my makeup yet, I was thinking that I might just do it myself, I actually live in Washington, DC, so I'm doing the long-distance planning thing. Ill have to ask some of my friends who are still in N.O. about make up artists

Me too! :) I'm in Dallas. My mom and I are going for a short trip next weekend so maybe I can find someone.

Aaaah! It's getting sooo close! I have 40 days until the wedding, 38 days until we leave on the cruise, and 29 DAYS until we leave for Vegas! Aaaaahhh!!!!

I still have so much to do. Which is crazy since just 3 months ago I thought I was done. Darn "wedding mode" setting in and all these DIY projects looking "fun to do". What was I thinking?

Yeah - I made a trip to Joann today to buy cardstock and a 2" hole punch to make door hangers to put in the welcome baskets. I need to step away from the DIY!

Yep!! just a mere month and a half to go! It literaly is insane to look at (since I never thought I'd get this close. Kind of how like you never thougtht you'd get old enough to graduate high school lol.) but I feel like the reality hasn't really set in.

Ha when 2 weeks roll around i'll probably be thinking "I"m getting married in two weeks? Psssssshhhhhhhh!! yeah right!"

I'm FREAKING out with 44 days left!!

We're doing our marriage license tomorrow - already filled it out online.
We've booked the Tux's - everyone must be fitted by 2/1 - FI already is
I'm going BM dress shopping with my new BM Sunday. (longggg story)
I'm doing our OOT bags and notes Sunday.
My third fitting is 2/10 - just to make sure i haven't lost any more weight, if so then it will be taken in
Programs and Menu Cards
Some more Recpetion Decor and Signs.
I still have to make a decision on my jewlery
And I still need to buy panties for that day and lingerie for that night

(cups are sewn in)
ALL music - except father/daughter dance - has to be decided on.

That's all I can think of atm...

Soooo excited!!! It's so close! Feeling Overwhelmed as well with the to do list since I am supposed to be doing homework (masters thesis) in any spare moment that I have...yet I can't stay away from you guys!!!!

The wedding will be on the first floor and the reception will be on the 4th floor. The balcony overlooks the french quarter on one side and the St. Louis cemetery on the other. :) </div><div>
