Wedding Cupcakes

I really want cupcakes for my mini reception.  I love how they look.  I have 2 issues, I do not know where to get some in the Naperville area besides Purple Monkey cupcakes, plus, my to be MiL wants to make them herself.  No offense to her but I want a some fabulous looking and tasting cakes.  She is a good cook but she likes to skimp on ingerdients.  For it being my wedding, I am not really concerned on calories for the big day.

Any ideas on how to handle this and where else to look?  I have read a lot of bad reviews on the local bakeries in the Naperville area online.

    You could tell your MIL that your vendor will not let you serve food prepared by someone without a catering license.

    I am sure anywhere you look could deliver them to the Naperville area, I wouldn't limit your search to that town.

    Sweet Mandy B's and Sugar Bliss. If you are looking to do them a little cheaper than that, look at Costco or Sam's. They will do whatever you want.

    Ditto MsBunny. Every venue we spoke to would not let any food in from outside unless it was from a licensed and insured baker. There's too much liability with food, they won't take a chance. So it's probably the truth anyway, but it also puts a nice neat end to the conversation without any feelings being hurt.

    More Cupcakes is in Chicago, but they can deliver to Naperville. I'm considering using them for my own wedding, they are very tasty cupcakes.

    We are going with Phoebe's Cupcakes on Broadway in Chicago.  I'm sure they would deliver to Naperville.  We have done 2 tastings and they are AWESOME! (And I don't even really like sweets).  They are also very reasonable compared to cake prices (at least in Chicago).  And Phoebe the owner is great which is always a plus :)

    I LOVE Foiled Cupcakes! They're a Naperville based company but don't have a storefront. I think they bake in Chicago, and they deliver all over. They are seriously the best cupcakes I've tried in the area. You'll love them!
