Really good, just a lot going on with holiday stuff and random WR stuff. Also found a job, which I start tomorrow...but have been spending some time there training lately.

I'm sitting on my butt, watching Kitchen Nightmares on BBC-A, and waiting for Domino's to arrive with their new and supposedly delicious cheesy bread. This better be worth the gluten attack.

I washed and put our new Christmas red, flannel sheets on the bed today, ran a few errands, tried lime and chili almonds and likes them, and just in general avoided doing anything stressful at all. My way of celebrating that school work is done for the year.

Once upon a Time is a rerun tonight according to my tv guide. But Hell on Wheels is noe so i'll be watching that at least. And probably the Next iron Chef finale to see who gets the honor.

I'm watching the Broncos game and getting ready to eat homemade pizza. I finished all of our gift wrapping today and gave Sebastian a bath. Those were the most productive things I did all day. The rest of my time was spent watching Ice Road Truckers. Ha

Evening!

Got all my presents wrapped and under the tree. The bookcase is done! So DH is trying to get his Man Cave together. I froze my first batch of cakeballs, but I think I screwed up, I didnt read AATB's directions which say dont put in the whole can of icing.
But I have another batch to make, so I'll make those correctly. And who doesnt like cake and icing, someone will eat the first batch..:)

I'm going to make my cookie batter tomorrow, it has to set in the fridge anyway, so it can be made ahead of time. AND DH made his beef stew.

I should be cleaning the house and washing the dishes, but instead I"m sitting on my butt watching old episodes of Biggest Loser. I at least have laundry running, so I'm not totally unproductive. (Although the only reason that's getting done is that I have to have clean scrubs tomorrow.)

I love flannel sheets, but H hates them. We both love jersey though. I don't care that they don't last very long or they're not high quality. They're so soft. I hate normal sheets.

I cleaned out all of my old photos this afternoon. Like, threw away about 500 (no lie), kept about 200? and then like 8 full albums. Anywho. I uploaded a bunch to facebook, and they make me so happy. haha

That's my random 'productivity' for the day. I really need to do laundry, but I don't want to.

Good evening!

H and I are basking in the Chiefs win today! H has become a huge fan since moving here. We figured that we'd lose this week against the Packers, but we didn't!

H is getting ready to make brinner, and my stomach is growling. Sourdough french toast, bacon and hash browns. Not the most nutritious dinner, but delicious!

Evening. We got back from my grandparents' a bit ago and are now watching Red Riding Hood. we had a good time, got some sweet gifts, although by the end of it I about wanted to spank the crap out of the kids. I just can't handle the chaos and loud noises and constant need for attention.

I'm bummed Once Upon a Time is a rerun, so I guess we have to wait until Hell on Wheels. I hope this week goes by fast, but I'm excited for tomorrow since I get to meet Star!

I made shrimp pasta for dinner and it was delicious, I also drank 5 beers. which were also delicious .I attempted to decorate the tree tonight but I was listening to the radio and kept texting people and getting distracted. Im terrible.

We are watching Christmas with the Kranks right now (which ive never seen) and adam si downloading that ben affleck christmas movie and santa clause. Im in full on christmas mode right now! seriously, 4 work days left for the year, someone pinch me.

Not sure about how stressful it's going to be, but I am still so excited. I'm going to be the Director of HR for a really awesome company, so it's a promotion and "bigger" job. I'm so ready. I start on January 9th.

I love my new boss. I had my final interview where I met with the CEO (who was really cool) and she offered me the job right there on the spot. We talked through the particulars and I accepted. That night, I took my family out to dinner to celebrate and I get home and there is a package on my front door step from Crate and Barrel. I get it inside and it's a gift wrapped box with all of this awesome hot cocoa stuff. The cutest part was that it had two big mugs and one small one (for me, Ben and Matt). It was from my new boss. How cool is that?

Here was Ben's reaction to the gift "Mom! Your new boss is the best! How did she know that bubble wrap is my favorite!". I love him.

Oh! And I get to go to Las Vegas during my first month with the company. What what!
