    Lol
  • How much am I going to cry when I get a tattoo on the top of my foot? I have a really high threshold for pain, but I'm not too sure about this.

Lol well I don't think any group of women talks about sex as regualrly as we do. We also all talk on a daily basis.  I never really do/did that often actually IRL.  I'm not afraid to say that we're abstinent, but I'm not the kind of person to just bring it up to start a new conversation either.
  • Sesh- I hate when things like that happen at work.  Birthdays, etc.... sometimes I just can't afford to do it all.  If they want everyone to be a team player they should give everyone raises IMO.  I don't think it's right how people guilt fellow employees how to spend their money.

Anna- What kind of art project?

I don't know, but let me know if/when you do. I'm saving to get one this summer.

<div>It'll most likely be pretty painful.  I have a friend who is a dancer and couldn't go back to dancing for awhile because it hurt a lot.  She never usually complains of pain.  With that said, everyone reacts differently to tats and I love top of the foot tats so you should totally do it.  </div>
  • Raynes, we agreed to move it back a week if she covered the things we want fixed from the inspection (it'll even out for costs, there's not much to be fixed).

Steph, she IS covering closing.  At least the 3% that she can, legally.

I did a surrealist collage of magazing cuttings and now I'm translating it into an all graphite piece.

  • Where on your foot Mara? Closer to the toes is more painful, I've heard.  My friend had a tattoo on the top of her foot and she compared it to her ankle.

Do you have any other tattoos? Where?
  • Oh. I thought you said something about paying your own closing costs.  Nevermind!

  • Mara - There were a couple times my eyes got a little misty while I was getting my feet tattooed, but I didn't full-on cry or anything. I've never cried with a tattoo, either, and everyone's different. They do make numbing creams for particularly painful spots (armpits, etc) but some people dislike them.

Closer to the top of my foot/ankle area. I am going to ask the artist where it would look best though.

I have 4 other tattoos, all on my back and while they hurt, it didn't bother me. I kind of enjoy the rush of adrenaline I get from the pain.

It'll be pretty neat if I can finish it properly.  I screwed myself on time.  I know better then to include bricks or a brick wall.  SO time consuming for me.  And yet, brick wall.  I'm an art-dummy.  I kill myself.

  • Good morning, ladies.

I will be very upset if this storm cancels our GTG.  It isn't looking good - lots of snow, with 45 mph winds.  Boo.

Chels - I think that girl wants your FI for herself.  Either way, she's an immature little twat and not worth building a friendship.

Good luck with your interview, Ricks!

And I agree that orange kitty boys are the best.  8-)

  • JCB, I'm sitting next to you on the "bummer train".  One of the local stations is predicting "6-18" inches of snow to fall between this evening and Saturday morning.  That's a CYA, not a prediction, there's a HUGE difference between the two.  Six is no big deal, eighteen is.

I'm ready for H to come home, but with the weather being iffy, his flight might get delayed or cancelled tomorrow.  Boo.  Here's hoping that the weather isn't too bad.

    Have a good day all!

I had to have my orange boy kitty put to sleep a little over a year ago. I think the fact that FH and Fiasco bonded almost immediately and had a great relationship was half the reason I fell in love with him. He was just as devastated when he died and we buried him in his brother's backyard. It is the only time I have ever seen FH cry.

  • BK that is strange.  What is a CYA anyway?  And that is too big of a range.  the low end means messy roads. The high end means you're not going anywhere for a day or two..
  • Stupid thing I just heard in the office:

Coworker A (jokingly to supervisor who was speaking in Spanish): "Hey man, this is the USA, speak English. I don't understand you."

Coworker B (the one who let her goddamn kid destroy our office over the weekend): "See, this is why Supervisor and I do better than you, because we can speak two languages. Which helps us excel. In the USA."

I don't know which one I'm more irritated with.

  • Chels - Cover Your Asss.

It's so hard to predict the weather here the way the storm systems hit the Rocky Mountains.  Our forecast is often just given as 'unsettled', meaning they don't know what's going to happen.  The computer models can say 2 inches of snow or 2 feet, depending on how the storms track.  It's usually wait and see how it develops as the system moves in.

  • Well Chels- you could always attempt to shame her into submission next time she talks like that. I would probably turn around and tell her perhaps her husband wouldn't like to hear how much she hates sleeping with him.

  • Chels-Les got to your question before me.  But, yeah, the weather forecasters here never seem to "nail" it.  I wish I could be as vague and WRONG in my job on a regular basis without getting fired.  Jeez!
  • Morning!! I can't say it is a good morning- I have had indigestion for the last few days, and this morning started out no differently. I think I swallow a lot of air and now I can't help but overanalyze myself. This sucks.

Chels- That girl needs to get a life.
