What are everyones plans after they get their marriage license? How are you celebrating it?? Dinner? Drinks? A full on vacation?

...sorry I couldn't help myself...any old knotties remember this??

    We popped champagne and ran around 35 in eatontown with ribbon wands :)

    We had our photographer meet us at the Town Hall to take pictures.  We then met all our close friends and family at a restaurant for a "marriage license dinner".  It was so fun.  MH even surprised me with fireworks after dinner!

    Am I missing something here? Picking up the license doesn't mean you're already married right? The officiant needs to sign it and send it back for it to be processed and finalized, correct? I am just surprised that people go all out to celebrate this so I'm thinking I might be missing some information here.

    This is hilarious. 

    I got my marriage license this morning.  There is no celebration.  I am happy to be alive but feel like crud because I am recovering from my bachelorette party this weekend.  I will be celebrating with water and crackers :)

    I can only remember the second time around it was Short Stuff (or something like that).  I'm trying so hard to remember the first name.  For some reason I think she had bride in her name.

    Victoria, some girl came on posting that her and her FI were going to this huge dinner to celebrate picking up their ML. How do you not remember that one? It was a gem!

    The city hall post below made me think of the story.
