I am totally confused about what's going on but I'm going to try to put in my thoughts.

I myself am a newbie, and I know what comes along with the territory. If you ask for an opinion then you are going to get them. Whether you like them or not, these girls are going to be honest with you. You can't get angry and defensive when you were asking for it in the first place.

Just becaue someone gets on your nerves and/or disagrees with you, does not make them a b*tch. This isn't middle school there is no need for name calling. If you don't like it then leave!

Just my little newbie rant haha.

Here's the thing. YOU came to the board and posted YOUR business. It is public , people don't have to agree with you , like you , or even want to. I have serious issues with your choices too and I don't even have kids. Your posts make me want to punch something. If you don't like the responses then you have a choice to leave the board , not post further or not share the details of your life. No one is making you stick around. People gave their honest and blunt opinions and did not have to resort to childish name calling like you have.

Sticking to your guns is one thing - just getting defensive because we aren't all happy go lucky dancing around you singing sunshine raindbows and lollipops is another.

You have much bigger issues if you do not think that any of it is worthy of judging.

If you were a literature major, you would know that the bolded part should be two different sentences.

Also, as a literature major, I would think that you could understand that people would make their own inferences based on the information provided.

Couple things...

OP no one here is a real biitch, some are biitchy at times sure... usually to well deserving newbs who get all defensive over opinions being given. NEWSFLASH: When you post on a public forum the content is public and due to freedom of speech we can all give our opinions to you... you don't have to like them but we are still entitled to them. Get over it.

Also, you don't know any of us to assume that we are keyboard jockies just acting tough on the internet. I am a very nice person 99.9% of the time, but if I get really mad look out! If you called me a biitch in real life you'd probably have gotten some well deserved choice word and either a black eye or a broken nose.

My guess as to why she thinks its okay to bring LD BF into her house with her child from previous marriage is because she's preggers... just a guess. People tend to think that babies fix things, or in the case of an oops that moving in together/getting married will make it all better... not the case. Too many stressful adjustments at once.

I didn't comment on Destiny's first post because I didn't want to get into the crazy of it, but things are getting out of hand now.

OP is entitled to do whatever she wants (although I do happen to diagree with what she's doing myself). But she should also realize that if she posts it on a PUBLIC forum, with women from all walks of life, that she's going to get a LOT of opinions, and most of them will not be in her favor.

There's no need to be PMing each other and having arguments. You posted something, people told you what they thought. You can deal with it or not post here anymore. As for the anti-newb sentiment, sure, a lot of people here are at first weary of them, and I can see why. As a newb myself, I try to sound rational when I post and will admit if I'm wrong or being crazy.

But seriously. It's just a message board. Maybe OP should get off the computer and think about having her LDR boyfriend move in with her three year old.
