I had my first fitting last night. I was nervous about the dress not fitting, but it did and thanks to the corseted back, no matter what happens (i.e. if I loose weight or not) the dress will be perfect, its just a matter of how tight the corset is tied.
I also found out that with the shoes that I bought, I won't have to alter the hem of the dress, its perfect the way it is. The only thing that is being done for alterations is the bustle, I am so pumped about that!
The seamstress figured out a way to bustle the dress and I'm so in love with the way she did it!

My dress came with a shoulder strap, which I knew from the beginning that I didn't want to wear, so I asked if I could have it cut off so that I could make a headband/hair clip with the strap. I am planning on wearing the headband during the reception since I won't be wearing my veil all night and I wanted some bling in my hair! The seamstress cut it off for me and as soon as I got home I assembled it into a beautiful ribbon headband! I love it so much and FI was home when I did it and he thought it looked great too

I'm going to bring it to my hair trial later on this month and ask the hairstyles if its good the way it is, or if I should add it to a hair comb type thing instead.
Here are the pics for the headband:
