  I posted this in the budget weddings forum, but I just saw this post and thought it was relevant here too --I wanted to share something I found that, I believe, will help me save some money on my wedding decor and DIY projects.  There is this website called Plastic Jungle where you can buy discounted gift cards.  Yesterday, they had a bunch of Michael's gift cards up for over 20% off.  Unfortunately, I was too slow on the trigger and they are gone today.  I signed up for notifications so that when they come back I can buy them.  They also have tons of other gift cards for clothing stores, restaurants, etc.  I figure if I'm going to be shopping at Michael's or Banana Republic or Ann Taylor (bridesmaids dresses anyone?) anyway, why not buy a gift card ahead of time for ~20% off??  

  
  

  Obviously, since you'd be buying a gift card, you can combine this with any in store promotions, coupons, etc.  That's where I think the real savings would come in, especially for a place like Michaels - save ~20% off the bat and then use one of their 40 or 50% off a single item coupons!   P.S. I guess this won't help with the today only sale since there are no Michael's gift cards up at the moment, but in case there are brides out there willing to wait for another coupon to roll around, I think this could be worth it!!

  got my ring bearer pillow, flower girl basket and a basket for programs and ribbon wands. thanks for posting this! i definitely got use out of it
