I like both so I think you should just do 'eenie meenie miney mo' to choose.
I had to chuckle you put (WR) in your title.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
This may be completely a big hassle.....but I am a SUCKER for SAP.
What if you asked each or your BM's for the song or book or poem or whatever that to them, means love. And make each one different? That way they are a fun conversation piece and it also allows them to put a little bit of themselves and what they think love means into the project.
I personally would love this idea if I were a BM. Guest: LOVE the paper bouquets...what is yours made out of? BM: It's the words to my hubby and I's first dance. G: AWWWWWWW..

<div>This. Actually I like the idea of the BM's picking a poem or song too. Before I saw this, I thought that maybe you could have the person combine the two in some way? Not sure how that would look together though</div>

I like the way the sheet music looks. It looks more interesting than the words one.
