  • They also had storyboard stuff from Nightmare, movie posters, storyboard from Big Fish (I had no idea he had any part of that movie) and the stroller from Batman Returns.....as well as a million other drawings that he did from the early 90's that you can tell were some of the early thinkings of Nightmare.

  • I hope DH doesn't have to have another surgery. If he does, we can't go. But! If he doesn't, looks like a trip to NYC for my birthday! Thanks for the tip, Stina!
  • I got the large bag with long straps and red trim. The one I already had also had red trim, but it was the medium with the regular straps. I just like red. I think they have more expensive ones now where you can add zippers and pockets and new colors and such. Seriously, you can drag that thing through a monster truck rally and it holds up nicely :) The medium one wasn't good for a beach bag really because it was barely big enough for a beach towel. And yes they are kind of pricey, hence why I only get them as gifts or if I have a gift card! It's kind of hard to justify that price since you can get tote bags just about anywhere now, but I like them.

  • Scotteo, here is the link for his exhibit.

We are members so we had no problems getting in, but if you're not a member, you have to get tickets to the exhibit. I just checked on there and the tickets were to get into the museum, so I assume that the exhibit is free but limited. It was really crowded today, being a Saturday and all.

  • Awesome! Thanks!
  • FI is a big fan of going to the gun range and has several guns. . . a shot gun, a 9mm, and an AR, which is the civilian version of the gun the Army issues every soldier when they deploy.  We went to the range with friends one day last winter, and we took the 9mm and borrowed to 40 cal Glocks.  I am apparently a really good shot for the whole clip, but I HATED it.  HATED.  I never want to go again.  Ever.

Of course, the targets we were shooting at were pictures of terrorists, who just happen to be people.  Had it been a standard bullseye, I might have only really, really disliked it.

  • Today I filed my taxes and Fafsa, and just finished bathing my 2 dogs.  Now I need to do some laundry and scrub the kitchen.
