Escort Cards or Seating Chart?????

Which one are you all doing? And how close to the wedding are you going to start working on them?

I want to do a seating chart, FI and I made a chart with our picture as the background in Power point but where would I go to print it out at?

This is my plan as of now. I definitely want a seating chart. I will either have it designed by someone else and have it printed at FedEx/kinkos, office max, etc. Or we will make it ourselves. I don't have a plan of when exactly yet. I'm choosing it because I think it will be a nice keepsake.

For those of you doing Escort Cards, are you hand writing them? or printing them?

Escort cards... That way people can just pick up their cards and go rather than standing in front of a board looking for where they are supposed to sit. Plus, I just don't see myself keeping a seating chart for very long b/c I don't like clutter. The wedding pictures will be my keepsake lol.

My designer is helping me with these. I"ll give her my final list with the final guest count is due for all of my vendors (2 weeks beforehand).

.40 each for black ink and .50 for color ink. She creates the design based on your direction and mails you samples on your paper choice. You complete the spreadsheet she sends and she does the cards. Well worth .40 to me since I don't have a creative bone in my body nor patience for DIY.
