Insuite Reception Rooms

Can everyone please share with me where they are having their insuite receptions at? Also what did you pay for the room? I need ideas and how much it will cost me to book a suite. Thanks!

Vista Suite at Mandalay is by far the most popular one on here; it's in the $350 to $450/night range depending on night and coupon codes available at the time.

Vista Suite is nice but it also depends on how many people you're going to have.  The Media Suite at MB is a bit bigger or you could also use the H or L suites at the THEHotel.  We're using the L suite for about 75 people.  I don't recall the exact price right now, but I think it's about $525.

We are 99% sure using the Hospitality Suite at Aria, it's about 2,060 square feet so it's bigger than the Vista and it's in a more central location.  It's $500 a night.  Only issue I'm having is we want to stay in a regular room 2 more nights but their rates are higher than we'd like, about $199 and up.

@mbkoby- I can't seem to find the L Suite on Thehotel's website, can you direct me to where it is?  How many square feet is that one?  Thanks!

Planet Hollywood has awesome suites - The Panorama goes for around 550 and the Boulevard is about 750. We had the Boulevard and loved loved LOVED it!! And we loved the hotel in general, so clean and fun and right in the middle of the strip!

Our BM wanted to rent the Media Suite next Thursday for the Bachelor party - cost was $504/nt.  He and the other guys opted to rent a house instead.

Also, check in with the Cosmopolitian - they open Dec 19th(?) and apparently will have some nice suites w/ balconies and all...

I checked Aria and they wanted $750 for a Saturday night. What day of the week did you book it for $500?

@sunie- We have it booked (well it's being held right now for 2 wks for us to make the deposit), but it's for Thurs. and Fri. night.  Price could go up for a Sat. would be my guess, not sure if you looked online for the price but you could just call to double check...

@Sara - I went to MB to view the Vista Suite and the front desk told me it probably wouldn't be big enough for us. They suggested the Media or L Suites. The L Suite isn't on their website but it's the same layout as the H Suite, just bigger. It's 2160 sq ft, including the bedroom. It's very modern. I fell in love with it!

@mwkoby- Interesting, thanks for the info!  Crap though, that makes me want to look into that now too.  You don't happen to have any pictures do you?

We think we are doing MB Media Suite. Had a 30% off coupon to book PSC30 (Valid until June 30 2011), thanks to kareevan for posting.  But now FI is worried that it will be too cramped. (NOW he wants to have input. LOL) so we may consider the Orleans suite which is $3500 for a Saturday night. But we may move the room to a Friday for a meet and greet and use Qdoba for catering, still waiting for a call back from the catering manager though.

Hopefully a Wynn or Encore salon suite. Haven't booked yet but it will be at least $600.

We looked into the Terrace Suite at MGM Grand as well, but it was significantly more expensive than the Vista Suite (I think about $900/night).

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. @mwkoby:  how many people are you expecting??
Is the L suite in a separate tower with separate check-in and stuff like the Hospitality suites?  What was the price?

    @ aerin
I looked at some of the Trip Advisor reviews of the Terrace Suite and they weren't very good.  I also heard that the indoor space is quite small, therefore posing a problem if the weather is bad.
    FYI :)

    @sunie
I booked the Vista for two nights (Fri and Sat) at a rate of $549 per night.

aww yes media suite is a great deal, we had 35 people comfortably. If you have more, i also would suggest the startdust at the orleans. I mean MB media suite can hold more, its up to you. Have fun planning and glad i could help :)

Another Vista Suite bride here- just wanted to throw it out there, we booked the Vista suite for a Sunday & Monday night. We used a promo code and got it for $303/night, and also got $100 in resort credit (breakfast room service, anyone??). Granted, we're only having 25 guests so space wasn't that big of an issue. But we really found the lowered price to be well worth booking the Vista Suite :)
