I just got a call about my interview yesterday.  They want to hire me and another girl, they are seeing if they can get funding for both of us.  Which is cool, then I don't feel as bad when I take off for 2 weeks for the wedding and several days for PT etc.  

How is the weather today?

    That's great news NCV.
    I'm getting ready to head into work.  I'm starting another job tomorrow, so I'm a little nervous about that.

    No full time.  It's through an agency and would last until the end of the school year in July.  There is money for after school work as well as possibly summer school.  


    I just got a message from a private school, they would love to meet with me next week!  I would really like to go private.  

    If I go private I would leave the agency work.  The good thing about agency is you only need to give a few days notice.  However they only have to give you a few days notice as well.  I have always had long term roles and it hasn't been an issue foe me.  However if they didn't like me they could tell me to hit the road.  

    The good thing about the England is you can be a part time teacher here, I never heard of that in the US.  Also the roles I hope to get really lend themselves for part time work because I wouldn't have my own class. So after we have kids I could work part time and the school could hire another part timer to cover the other days without changing all too much for the kids.

    I confess I am an evil person.  I just got bad/interesting news about a coworker and thought it was hilarious.  Luckily my boss told me over the phone, so while I didn't LOL she couldn't tell I was smirking on the other end.

    Awesome, NCV! That's great!

    It's cold here. Freezing cold.

    I need new brakes, and I'm not looking forward to spending the money for it. Thankfully, FI is gonna do it, so I don't have to pay for labor. Not so thankfully- he's making me help him. I wouldn't mind in the summer, but I don't wanna be outside longer than I have to. :(

    Congrats NCV!  And good morning to everyone!

    I've got my wedding ring back on today (I didn't wear it yesterday).  The doctor put my wrist in a brace over a week ago and occasionally it makes my whole hand swell.  So my wedding wouldn't fit yesterday.  Luckily, my engagement ring is about a 1/2 size bigger so I was still able to wear that.

    DH left for his basketball tournament yesterday morning.  He's in Kentucky until Sunday night.  So I'm on my own this weekend  :(

    morning ladies!  I was almost late to work today because I could have SWORN it was Saturday morning.  Whoops.

    Did you guys see the kid from Upper Darby who got jumped by 7 kids was on The View yesterday?  DeSean Jackson came on and told him how brave he was and gave him a signed jersey.  Everytime I watch it, I tear up. 

    NVC, that's great!  I hope they either pick you, or find enough for both of you!

    I have been hearing about DeSean and this kid on the view, and have yet to see it.

    I am over it being so cold, the poor space heater at my desk has been working overtime.

    Jeep is bad in the shop for the list of things stilll wrong with it, so I'm back in the redneck truck.

    Paprika - isn't great to have a handy man?  Although FI never makes me help him haha.  If it's warm out, i'll sit on the curb and watch.

    MAN I miss all the Philly new stuff in MD.  YAY DeSean Jackson, I'll have to look it up tonight.

    Mana- oh, it so is. However, I dont know if your FI has ever changed the brakes on your jeep, but mine were a PITA. For real. He actually needed an extra hand the last time, so that's what we're counting on this time. I'm just glad it's not my pontiac... those brakes. Phew. Forget it. That whole car was made to have to be serviced at a shop. Way to go GM. :)

    Can I have a little confession session? I have to confess that as much as I thought it was just my coworker driving me crazy, it's just TOM. I just realized that.

    Oh, day 3 of 30ds! yay! :)

    Paprika - nope, haven't changed the brakes on the jeep.  Actually I don't think he's done anything to the jeep since I have extented warrenty on it.  When I was driving his truck, I noticed the heat wasn't kicking on (and it was 20 degrees out).  I told him and that night he was covered in gease fixing it until 10pm.  He loves me haha.

    Morning ladies!

    So I slipped on black ice this morning and went down pretty hard on my ass/right side. Ouch haha. Luckily no one was around. Then my train stopped due to "conflict on the last train car." Some a-holes got into a fight apparently and the cops had to be called.

    SO, I'm eating a donut for breakfast Tongue out

    Jackie - I had a dream similiar to that last week. My wedding dress was made out of teal leather haha!

    Morning Ladies,

    I heard the upper Darby kid on P&S - can't bring myself to watch it since I was crying while listening to it. Will watch when I get home so I'm not bawling while at work.

    So I'm hoping today is better than yesterday. It was seriously the longest day of my life, and to top if all off, I got a flat tire while driving my FIs car home from class last night at 8:30. I was so upset (thankfully they got an extended warranty on the tires so it shouldn't cost anything to replace). The f*ing pot hole is literally a foot wide and maybe about that deep. I saw it in the daylight this morning on the way to work - to boot, it's on a curve....

    I cannot wait to have drinks tonight!

    I know! I was rushing for the train and wasn't looking down at all.
