Yes.

1. Has anyone else seen the teacher-student relationship on the news the past few days. It makes me feel physically ill everytime I see it.

2. A continuation of my vent over the bridal shower I'm helping with for my friend's wedding...I can't stand her maid of honor. The talk over budgeting is just continuing to make my head hurt (we don't need a budget. we'll just split things four ways. I'll buy everything and tell you what you owe me

) and kind of makes me want to pull my hair out. PLUS she's been b*tching to the bride about how much she hates the bridesmaid dresses that were purchased. I want to tell her to just back the heck off in the worst way.

I'm game...

I confess that we are supposed to go over to FMILs tomorrow to spend just about the entire day there because FBIL and his GF are visiting from out of town. I really don't mind going for a few hours but I have this feeling we are going to be there until like 10pm. Oh well.

Ashton - That girl needs a reality check. Have you told her that you are only willing to spend X amount? What have the other BM said?

Here's my big flameable one...

My nephew is 20. He's been on and off with his GF for years. They got pregnant, but lost it over Christmas, but not before getting engaged. Now they are planning their wedding 2 months before mine. REALLY?! You can't wait and go back to school, grow up some, then get married? I really want to *footstomp* and be a bridezilla but I need to be the adult. But I had to get that out there....

FI and I are having a "plan the next 3 years or so" discussion this week, and I want to drop the ball on him that I think we should be TTC by our first anniversary.

Also, I really want to go to Starbucks even though caffeine messes me up and I can't have dairy....I know there are other options, but I really only like two things from SB. One has caffeine and the other has dairy. LOL

One of my favorite parts of wedding planning so far has been listening to music and finding songs for our reception, etc.

I will confess that this morning after FI left for work, and while I was in the bathroom still getting ready for work, I rocked out a little too hard to "American Girl". I think I threw out my back. The muscles in the lower part are in serious spasm and it hurts.

Damn Tom Petty. Lol.

I confess that I had a total B#TCH freak-out moment last night about the money for the wedding. It was over-the-top, unnecessary, and I feel like a complete arse because of it. Thankfully, my fiance has nerves of steel and isn't holding it against me.

I also confess that while I've given up pop and candy/sugary/sweets for Lent, I've slipped up 5 times and it's only been about a week. Not with pop, but with the sugary things. I see FI and my daughter eating the sweet, deliciousy goodness and I just crack. More resilience is definitely needed.

So...every morning I'm up at 5 and out of the house by 6:30. FI wakes up around 6:45. I confess that I cannot wait until next week when I'm off of work and can sleep in late. Then he has to be up and out of the house before I even wake up!!

I also confess that I cannot stand anymore of the BC controversy!! I heard today that Rush Limbaugh called one woman a "slut" because she uses it and then said that if insurance has to cover her BC, that she should videotape herself having sex so that everyone can watch. So at least they can "get something out of it" (paying for her BC). Absolutely disgusting. I'm so over it.

That is absolutely disgusting! I almost can't even wrap my head around how horrible and degrading that is.

I confess that I get angry when I see other people talking on their cell phone while they are driving...and I do it ALL the time.

I know!! I listened to it online and almost got physically ill. You can disagree with what you want, but that took it about 10 steps too far. I don't think any of his listeners can honestly back him up on that comment.

I will confess that I have been wondering about Cathy's Tickers.

Ashton- I would just give the MOH X amount of money and tell her that is the amount of that you have budgeted for her party.

I confess that I have finally gotten a pay increase from work after 2 years and I don't even think it will cover the increase in what I will have to pay for gas now that it has gone up so far!! UGH

haha...wouldn't that be nice. Unfortunately, viagra is okay b/c it "corrects a health issue" and isn't just to "promote promiscuity" like BC.
I understand that the BC issue is religious and I respect those that don't use/agree with using it. But he has no respect for people that don't share his viewpoint. What kills me is that her whole testimony (the woman who he was referring to) was about her friend that lost an ovary b/c she had severe PCOS and her insurance wouldn't cover BC which would help symptoms. NOTHING ABOUT HAVING A LOT OF SEX. And Rush turns around and makes it a sex issue.

Grrr....sorry for venting. It's just so frustrating. No one deserves that kind of disrespect and no one deserves to be called a slut.

I confess that I may have melted down a little this week. When we got engaged my parents each said they would each pitch in $5000 and FI parents are taking care of rehearsal dinner. That is plenty for us and we were already planning on being under that (FI and I will pitch in what we can, he's still a student and I'm only a .5 teacher this year). Wednesday when trying to talk to my mom about a photographer, she said she didn't want to pay, wasn't made of money, and we should pay for more things ourselves......um what?! I'm over it now, already tightened budget and searched craigslist for more affordable photographer, but still kind of hurt she changed her tune about helping.

Totally Agree!
But I did find another potential job, but I cant justify leaving my company because my boss is a total b!tch, and since Im on a two year special assignment, i cant get my company to allow me to look for another job internally for another year (thus my dilemma). I love my current company, just not my boss. The bad thing is that she is also on a special assignment and only started back in October so I have no chance of getting a new boss while Im there. :(

and I confess that I have been procrastinating finishing my save the dates, and am getting nervous because a bunch of my close friends recently got into relationships that I wasn't counting on adding +1s to their invites.... so I am getting nervous about how many people we are having and such....

I confess that it really bothers me when another week goes by and my Mom still hasn't gotten me her list of addresses for her side of the family. She was supposed to be compiling it all in a spreadsheet for me, but I think it would have been faster for me to contact these people via "snail mail" than to wait for her to get it all together, haha! I know that she's incredibly busy, but I just wish that she would make this more of a priority. I still need to get the addresses together to send out our STDs later this month!

Ok this is going to sound horrible, mean and hypocritical but...
I have a girl that has decided she is going to be one of my BMs, as in I didn't ask her to be a BM. I've let this go because I'm close with her daughters and want them to be Jr BMs. My problem is she keeps getting bad tattoos. She goes to a girl that does them out of her house and they look like a 10yo drew them. They're HUGE, so in order to cover them my BM are having long dresses and a high back. Not at all what my MOH and I were planning. I have no problem with tats I have two myself but purposely got them so they wouldn't show unless in a bikini. I by no means would ever tell anyone what to do with their body, but when you add yourself to my WP it's a bit frustrating to see you post a new ugly tat on FB every other month. Ok troll bridezilla moment over. :/
