Where to find teal shoes???

Hi ladies,

I've been searching and searching and have not been able to find any shoes in my budget that are teal, or able to be dyed teal. I would prefer a heel of less than 3 in and something less than $100. I LOVE Badgley Mischka's Lacie in white satin (to dye teal) but its double my budget. Any other ideas??

This will be my first time wearing dyed shoes, so I'm not 100% sure about any colors running, but I have heard from someone that if the color is very dark and your feet sweat a lot in the shoes that you may have a bit of a color transfer. BUT, this person also said that the girls weren't thrilled with the company they had used in general, so a poor dye job may have been their problem. I have been wearing my shoes around the house a bit (they say you should always practice walking in your wedding shoes, right?? lol) and I haven't had any problems with the color coming off at all.

I am wearing teal shoes in my wedding. I bought the shoes at davids bridal for $59 and they dyed them for an additional $4. The color was oasis, its a very nice teal color. I went to target after i picked them up and got a can of water proof shoe spray for $7. I have also been wearing socks to help break them in, it also helps rub off the excess dye at the bottom and keep it of my toes. This was the mose cost effective way for me to get teal shoes.
