• Best cleaning products? I love Clorox Wipes. I use them in the kitchen and for a lot of stuff.

Chore you like? I don't mind cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes

Chore you hate? Cleaning bathrooms!

How often do you change your sheets? I try for once a week but many times it ends up being once every two weeks

How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? Not often enough

• Best cleaning products? Scrubbing bubbles. Plus the little bubble characters are cute.
Chore you like? Cleaning the kitchen. I don't mind doing dishes and wiping down the countertops and cleaning the oven and stove.
Chore you hate? Folding clothes
How often do you change your sheets? Once a week usually. It might be less than that for the next little while because my washer bit the dust last week.
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? Once every couple of weeks.

[QUOTE]Best cleaning products? I'm a sucker for anything lemon scented. OH, and I love using Murphy Oil Soap on the hardwood floors.

Chore you like? We have a little vacuum cleaner that's really more like a dustbuster with a long handle - I use that almost every day and I like it. I also like making the bed because it looks so nice and is pretty easy to do.

Chore you hate? Laundry; anything involving the toilet. Ugh, and cleaning the refrigerator. Yuk.
How often do you change your sheets? Once a month

How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? It gets done every two weeks - we pay someone to come in every other week and do basic maintenance chores. I'm a little embarassed by that, but we sacrifice in other areas and it is an AWESOME luxury for us- so worth it.

• Best cleaning products?
Mr Clean Magic Erasers
Chore you like?
Cleaning and organizing bedroom
Chore you hate?
Taking out trash
How often do you change your sheets?
Every couple of weeks
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower?
When I have company, I'm bad. I'll randomly spray it with cleaner, and the shower head is detacable, so I'll spray it down, just not enough deep cleaning.

I'm expecting my mom to come out of the corner and slap me on the head for admitting this.

• Best cleaning products?
I love Clorox wipes. I don't know what I'd do without them
Chore you like?
None.
Chore you hate?
All of them, but I hate doing the dishes the most.
How often do you change your sheets?
I never really change them. I just wash the sheets, pillow cases, etc. and put them back on after I've cleaned them. I usually do this about once/week.
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower?
Once/week.
• Best cleaning products? I love bleach. But, I like to use environmentally friendly cleaners too. So I've gotten into melaluca.
Chore you like? I like most everything. I love cleaning out the fridge and organizing it as well as the pantry.
Chore you hate? I hate putting anything away. Dishes, clothes, etc. When I get back from trips I live out of my suitcase until almost everything has been used/worn. Drives my husband crazy.
How often do you change your sheets? Weekly.
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? Not enough. I realized this the other day. Gross. I think I am going to add it to my saturday morning list, that way it's always done.

• Best cleaning products? No strong feeling about most products, but I LOVE Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They're amazing.

Chore you like? Um...none. But I do get satisfaction in seeing how great the rugs look after we vacuum. I don't mind laundry. And I can unload the dishwasher while my bagel is toasting so I don't mind that either.

Chore you hate? Mopping floors. That's almost always Dh's job.

How often do you change your sheets? usually once a week

How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? "As needed" for my bathtub, which varies. Dh does his shower far less often. (He uses the bathroom in our master bedroom; I use the hall bathroom.)
• Best cleaning products? Oh, I love all Method products. They're not easy to get here.
Chore you like? General tidying and dusting.
Chore you hate? DISHES.
How often do you change your sheets? Every week.
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? Once a week.

Funny - the cable is exactly what we did give up to keep her. We make otehr budget adjustment, too, but that was the main thing we actually cut out completely in order to make room for her. It's worth it.

Dani - you're so nice. It still feels rather uncomfortable for me, but that's kind of silly, like "What? It would be better NOT to employ her? You'd feel better if this woman wasn't earning a decent wage doing this work?"

ETA: We recently gave our cleaning person a raise to $100/session. She comes every other week and I have no idea how long she stays. I am guessing 3-4 hours? We have a small house, but she does a very thorough job, I think.

For those of you considering getting someone to help clean, this may be more or less expensive than you thought.
• If we can afford it, I'm going to spring for a weekly cleaning lady; otherwise, she'll be bi-weekly.
• Best cleaning products? Mr Clean Pads.
Chore you like? Dusting.
Chore you hate? Ironing, and cleaning my shower.
How often do you change your sheets? every 2 weeks.
How often do you clean your bathtub/shower? every 2 weeks.

I will probably have no problem once we redo our bath, but our shower is a PITA. You can barely turn around let alone, scrub and rinse.

Totally. If one of us got laid off, you'd figure we'd be home enough to clean, but no, H would honestly rather have to eat ramen and keep the cleaner.

Ours is $90 every other week. We also tip $20 (two of them come). It's through a service that's bonded and insured. If we did it every week, it would be less each time, but even if it was $70 or $80, that's just too much to spend every week.

• I know someone with steam mop and she swears by it. I don't know if it's shark though. She loves the damn thing so much. I am thinking about it.
