Did you ever watch SNL when Phil Hartman was on? Were you even alive then? LOL. He did a skit called "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" and talked about being frightened by the fax machine. They're hilarious!!!

So, I just thought of a complaint:

One of my girlfriends is getting married in October. She'd planned a small wedding with a few people in the wedding party. Two of our friends found out she wasn't planning on having them as bridesmaids (gasp!) and apparently called her and badgered her into including them in the BP.

Granted, she should have stood her ground, but every time I think of it my blood boils. Grr.

<div>People like this absolutely suck. They had no way of knowing what her reasons were for not including them, but they apparently didn't care. I'm actually going though this same situation right now with FI's older sister.

Well, I called and switched them onto the next flight because there were only two seats left on that plane and I wanted to keep them together since apparently the other guys FI doesn't want to pick him up/drop him off at the airport. <div>
</div><div>So he'll get here @ 5:10 instead of 4:15 so I had to push the walk through to 7. Poor guy. He's going to be pretty upset I think but we can't really put it off.</div>

Glad you were able to reschedule the walk through! He doesn't get to be mad, if he's tired he should have gone to bed early last night instead of going out drinking with you know who :-P

We had to go through this too. FI has 9-12 brothers and sisters, depending if you want to count ex-step-siblings that he grew up in the same house with, and including halves.
Because we wanted small wedding parties, we decided if the siblings didn't have a child we were using for flower girls, then they could be ushers/house party. It was weird at first but some of them really aren't all that close with each other, so I think they all understand. Because of this we also left my brother (who I am super close with) out of the WP. It was (and still is) a mess.

My day ended with FI calling to let me know the groomsman we were waiting to get measurements from, had his kid's birthday suddenly pop up on our wedding day, so he said he can't come. That's all fine and dandy, cause I wasn't looking forward to arguing with someone who wanted to change into boots as soon as the ceremony was done, but seriously dude? We have been calling you for a month to remind you toget your measurements.

A.) what kind of parent forgets it's their kid's birthday?
B.) what kind of friend blows off bringing up that point when you were asked A YEAR AGO to be a GM?

Our groomsgirl, who is in the same brigade as him, has already ripped him a new a-hole. Poor FI was scared I was going to be livid with him for having such a crappy friend. Luckily we have found a stand-in, who I like a whole lot better and didn't understand why he wasn't in the wedding party to begin with.
