Used wedding dress advice

I am looking to purchase a 2nd wedding dress for my ceremony and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on it.  I have a couple that I have tired on in some local bridal salons and am thinking of looking for them for sale used online.  What are the best used web sites that are trustworthy?

    Just keep in mind that, as with ebay and other "for sale by owner" type sites, they are only as reliable as the people selling. Protect yourself by using escrow or Paypal for payment, and get tracking information.

    I use paypal all the time but what is esccrow?  Is it, in other brides opinions, just as trustworthy as paypal?

    Escrow just means that a third party gets involved with the money, so the seller won't ship to the buyer until the buyer delivers the money to the escrow account, and the administrator won't release the money to the seller until the buyer confirms receipt of the dress. It's for the protection of both parties. A friend of mine bought a $3500 Priscilla of Boston dress on preownedweddingdresses.com for only $400 - she had a good experience with that site.

    ebay usually has wedding gowns on sale, and definitely use paypal.
