I've been to many events there and I think it is lovely. The service was always perfect and the food not bad either. Parking stinks but can't have everything!

I have been to a couple weddings there and love the Citrus club.  I really wanted to have our wedding there but it was in the middle of all the construction on I4 therefore the view wasn't that great and my mom didn't like the idea of people having to pay for parking and having to use elevators.
Some negatives... if people want to go outside (smokers) they have to go down to like the 4th floor and no one ever goes alone so you lose groups of guests, parking stinks and your guests have to pay to park (unless you prepay everyones parking), most of the view is of I4 where all the construction is for the new arena (however it isn't nearly as bad as it was 2 years ago), and you also have to rent out the whole top floor.. if not you risk guests from other parties wander in on your wedding (one of the weddings I went to there was a HS prom on the other side we there were a lot of HSers trying to sneak in for booze).

i have no problem renting out the whole floor, we would want our privacy for the event anyway.  As for smoking, no one in my family smokes really except some of the men might want to light up a cigar but other than that.

I am glad to hear that it is a nice/pretty place. Is the food good? Parking I think said there was a gaurage near by, might have to just pay for people's parking.

Do you know Blonde if you have to be a member to have an event there?

The food was awesome both times I went.  I am not sure if you have to be a member... I don't think so though... you might just pay more being a non member.  I got married at the Winter Park Racuqet Club where they say you have to be a member but they found someone to sponser us and we just paid a little bit more.  My mom was going to become a member but the cost of the membership was far more expensive than us paying the nonmember rates and charges.
I found pics of a recent wedding at the Citrus club... http://www.mikebriggsphoto.net/ - second set of pictures down... Shea and Rick.

Wow thanks Blonde. I wish they had more pictures of the venue haha.  You are probably right about paying slightly more for being a non-member.  My FI said he liked the bar area haha.

My Dad wanted me to look into it for our reception but I think I only looked at the paperwork online and crossed it off because it wasn't on my list and I had never seen it before haha.
    It is supposedly really nice!!!!
