I am kind of confused, are we the etiquette police? Are people's friends and family the etiquette police. Maybe the new knot has just turned my brain to mush.

I think it's actually saying that we AREN'T the etiquette police and that we give modern planning advice versus old school Emily Post-style advice.

I don't even remember now how I managed to get here today.
