Anyone else not wearing a veil?

I've decided to not wear a veil, just a simple comb in my hair. It looks better with my dress to not wear one. Anyone else forgoing the veil?

I don't see myself in a veil and am seriously considering not wearing one. I can't see paying that much money for one if I'm only going to wear it for the ceremony and remove it before the reception. I don't think my mother is too happy about this, but its my choice after all.

I'm not wearing one. I toyed with the idea of a birdcage but in the end decided just to wear a bling-y hair comb.

TBH, I think veils look like crap on most people and are hugely distracting.

My mom hated the idea too until she saw me in the dress both with a veil and with the comb. She also disliked the veil with my dress

I think a veil would just be an annoyance all day long, so I'm forgoing the extra cost to be comfortable.

Im on the fence. Im known for wearing flowers in my hair so I went out and bought a huge gorgeous one that goes perfectly with my dress. When my grandma found out that I wasn't wearing a veil she was heartbroken. I dont like veils but Im afraid I will look back and regret not wearing one for at least the ceremony.

Anyone ever seen both a flower and a veil? I think I'd like to do a veil for the ceremony and a flower either at both or just at the reception, but I'm scared to mess with my hair too much after my hair lady goes home!

I kind of hate veils, so I won't be wearing one. I just think they look weird.

I have a tiny head, so most veils just looked a little weird on me. In the end, I'm not sure that I'll wear one. I did buy one so I have that option, but right now I just think I'm going for little flowers in my hair.

I bought a veil, and as I was getting ready at the ceremony site, I noticed it had a hole in it. So, I didn't wear a veil and it wasn't missed.

I didn't wear a veil. The bottom of my dress was very 'veil-like' and the veil itself took away from the dress. I just did flowers on one side and loved it!
