Anyone enjoy nice weather today? It was 80* at one point here!

I'm here. It wasn't as nice here today as it was Monday and Tuesday. They say next week we're forcasted to have more 70+ days

FI is watching "Wheeler Dealers", which I have no interest in so here I sit.

We had snow flurries off and on today. We are 40* right now.

I am working my last day at the hotel tonight. I am excited for my new chapter in life!

I got a job at Taco Bell. I haven't posted it here or told many people IRL because I am not that proud of it. I feel like it is a step down, but in a way, it is a step up. I will be making more money than I am know in a few months, and they have benefits. On my second day the store owner asked me if I was interested in management because she had heard good things about me! I never really thought about it, but I could totally do that! My first day I had two people compliment me on how quickly I was picking stuff up. They said I am the quickest they have had in a long time.

Thanks! I am trying not to be. When I explain why I moved there, people are surprised that I will be making more shortly and they think I made the right decision. I really like the people I work with and almost everyone has been there for years. That really speaks volumes about the store.

I would have to see pics. If I remember right, one of your shower dresses is that floral one from VS?

I think it is okay to do white, but I wouldn't have all of your party dresses be white. It would be weird to me. :)

Zims post pics of the dress(es)! I'm going shopping with my mom this weekend for my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner dresses. I have some white ones saved, but also other colors too. I think I'm just going to go with whatever style of dress looks best on me though and get it in whatever color it comes in.

Ordered today (not sure if it's formal enough since FI is wearing a suit) I didn't order it for the RD. I just liked it and it was a good price.

Then there's this one. I've had this on pinterest for a while and really like it and thought it'd be perfect for RD

We had a financial planner come to our marriage prep weekend. It was helpful and my dad was a financial planner so I ask him questions whenever haha.<div>

Yeah I purchased the striped one and will wear it to my shower in April. I really like what I ordered today but think it's more a HM dress. The white one is a good price too

Zims- I love the striped one!
The white one is NMS, but it isn't ugly. I think if you like the style, go for it!

ETA: I like the floral one for your RD better. (Only because I don't like one shoulder dresses.)

I'm here, trying to write our ceremony and its overwhelming. I really wish we were getting married in a church. We want our wedding to be religious but have no idea where to start and we are only having a 30 minute ceremony.

We had glorious weather here today. Low 80's. I hope the weather is this nice for the shower this weekend! Would love to be able to wear a sun dress.

I went to Kohl's to get the last hostess gift and found my wedding day ear rings! I am borrowing my moms diamond ear rings for my something borrowed but needed something else to wear in my first hole (I have 2 holes)

I love these and I think they will go perfect with the detail on the bodice of my dress. Best part, I got them for $8!

The floral one just isn't formal enough for the RD and probably not the best to wear in a church lol. It's a corset type dress so the cups are kinda low but not trashy obviously lol.

Thanks, Ash! I didn't really think about becoming a manager there, but now the thought is exciting. :)

My boss at the hotel said that I would make a great manager and that if I needed a reference, she would give me a great one. That is exciting! :D She said she would have made me a supervisor if she had the position available.

Katelyn, I love the third, white dress, it's too cute. I'd go with that for the RD, but then I'm also planning on wearing white to my RD as well; probably the same dress I buy for the shower!

We're enjoying great weather this year in the northeast so fingers crossed it will be glorious on the day of our wedding!

We bought my bichon a new big purple monkey squeaky toy and FI went to play with him and my puppy just lost it - he made this horrible squeal and hid under the table. Monkey toy is in the closet now - grand use of $12.

My batshit crazy MOH emailed me that she gave up on trying to find her own dress and she's sorry she canceled the order so can I just choose a new dress for her. The deadline to order from that line to have them in time was 2/20/12 so that's shot. My brows are furrowed and I still want to flush her blackberry down the toilet but I am restraining myself.

I tentatively got offered a new position! Really excited about that!

The RSVPs are trickling in so we're adding those to TK guestlist manager as we go along.

I'm also thinking that mixing two wines in a ceremony is a waste of wine; I went to a wedding that did that this last weekend and I decided it was a nice gesture but the lush in me just watched that glorious Cabernet go to waste.

The weather in Cincy was amazing. We took the dogs on a 5 mile jog. It was great.

I bought several dresses this past weekend and I'm trying to decide what to keep and which ones to take back. I'm not sure which ones to wear or to what.

My mother and sister (MOH) bought their dressed today. I really like my mother's dress, I'm not crazy about the one my sister picked out. We don't have a strong color theme, but the color element ls are green and teal. What color did my sister choose? Baby pink. She can't return it or exchange it so I'm stuck with it

Zims I don't think the white is trashy! I would probably just wear a sweater or wrap in Church during rehearsal.

Daria the dress she was talking about is a different one from VS lol. I'm thinking I'm gonna order the white one. I'm also stopping at some outlets Friday (j crew, the loft, and coach) if I don't get something there I'll order the white one!
