I was just wondering if anyone on here has gotten married or is getting married at the Rock Garden Green Bay....

I'm not getting married there but was recently at a wedding in one of their reception halls. I am also a GB bride. I thought it was a very nice venue and served it's purpose well. The food was pretty good for family style; they served broasted chicken and tips. The only concerns I had was that one reception I went to there a while ago had a roll-away bar (if I remember correctly) which I'm not a fan of. The one I was at recently had a nice big wood bar though and it really added to the atmosphere. The dance floor was a bit small but didn't cause any issues. They can have a lot of receptions going on at one time which can be confusing to guests driving in however they have people out in the parking lot asking you which wedding you are attending and directing people which I thought was great! Overall I thought it was a very nice place for a reception! Good luck!

Thanks good to know...I have a hall with the actual deep set in wood bar.

I am just getting frustrated with one of the managers. On several occasions she has had a meeting set up with me and hasn't shown. The guy we have been dealing with is Aaron who is great (also the fi's former classmate) but after 16 months and a few visits you'd think I would have had a sit down with her. /rant

I have been to a wedding there and I thought it was nice. I also was at a rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago- Food was AMAZING!

I will be having our reception there in May! I am really excited. The room we reserved has a large wooden bar. The meal options are wonderful. The only thing I don't agree with the lock out charge. But it is what it is and I am happy with everything else.

I just texted a friend of mine who got married there a few weeks ago and I asked her if she knew of a Debi and she texted back "barely". I guess she only met with her a week before the wedding, but she was helpful the day of.

When I was at her wedding I heard a lot of people complaining about the construction in the area. Taylor street is closed by Shawano so you have to go around the block so some people got confused and somehow got back on the highway, but she did have a lot of out of town guests who had to travel and didn't know the area well. Just a heads up cause I see you aren't from the area!

Thanks I was up there a few weeks ago and we took the directions I put in our invites that takes people right to Douseman (sp) then to Taylor that is right where the construction starts so I don't have to drag people through it. I really appreciate the heads up.

Word to the wise make sure Debi replies with history....she doesn't quite often and tried telling me something we discussed and agree was not how it was going to go but I had saved her replies and my sent emails so I was covered.
