What attracted you to your FI/DH (physically and mentally/emotionally)?

My FI has a nice behind

And, he keeps me from going batsh*t crazy on people...he's the mellow one. Me, not so much.

And, he can cook steak like nobody's business

Oh, and he loves sports and music...like me....we're meant to be

Physically:
Brian has a very nice tushie as well...LOL!
When he works out, he builds upper body muscle quite easily...mmmmm...love.
He has really pretty eyes...I hope our kids inherit them!!

Mentally/Emotionally:
He is truly my other half. He is calm whereas I'm so not (I like how Kim said it better though!). He likes to cook whereas I hate it. He also has the biggest heart and would do anything for anybody.

Most of all, he loves me for me. He doesn't try to change me. He doesn't want me to be anybody but me...weird, quirky, sassy, loudmouth, fiesty, ME.

Haha. I am a sucker for big broad shoulders- So when we first met FI's big broad shoulders attracted me. Also he always wore (and still does) a John Deere hat and and that reminded me of my grandpa, very traditional, solid, consistant, and dependant.

Emotionally- He's very close with his family and holds them on a high prioty level which is one of the most important things I think (and he's just solid in what he belives and is very consistnent- I love that)

I will have to agree that FI's baby blue's were the first thing that attracted me to him. They're just gorgeous, and I too hope that our future children have his eyes. His butt isn't too bad either

He is also my rock/support structure. He's honest, supports any decision I make as an individual, doesn't ridicule me, understands my flaws, doesn't/didn't try change the person I am and can handle my crazy family, LOL. Even when we bicker or argue, he still manages to make me laugh. He wants the same things out of life that I do, and I can't imagine doing them with anyone else other than him.

Physically -- he's big and tall which I always like in a man! Also, he made eye contact when we were talking the first time we met, and his smile.

Emotionally -- he's a good balance for me and my personality. I am a bit high strung and get fired up very easily. He's calmer and more laid back and isn't afraid to check me when I'm out of line. We have the same beliefs and values (more or less) and our personalities are just different enough that we provide good balance.

Physically:
Cutest butt EVER! Wonderful broad shoulders (I'm a HUGE sucker for shoulder, weird, I know). He's built like a football player...thick and squat. I love his blonde hair, and I know he makes really cute babies (his daughter is adorable). And he has the cutest nose -- I hope our kids get it!

The Rest:
He is an amazing cook, and he cooks for me all of the time! He is probably the most thoughtful man I have ever met. He's motivated, dedicated, and loyal. He loves sports, and movies like me. He's a huge foodie (like me) and loves to try new things. He's a lawyer. He gets along w/ my friends & family even though we all have a very different background from him. He's the total compliment of me...he keeps me grounded and mellow. And even when I lose my mind, he is always there to listen to my rant w/o trying to offer advice or "fix" it. He's one of the funniest people I know, even though at this point I've heard all his jokes about 10,000 times. He's intelligent. And most of all...he loves me for me including all of my flaws and crazy quirks.

Eyes, smile, goofy personality.

He's got these huge blue eyes and long dark eyelashes - its sexy and makes me jealous at the same time. He also was blessed with perfectly straight gleaming white teeth and a nice smile to show them off. Its not fair!

And he's a really kind hearted sweet guy. Basically he's the whole package lol!

The first thing I noticed about FI was his arms and shoulders. He was chopping wood when I saw him and SWEET JESUS! I was in love lol

The thing that has kept me staying is his heart. He doesnt wear it on his sleeve so to really get to it you must be special to him. Once you are there though....he'd die for you, fight for you and never let you fall. He is without a doubt the best human being Ive ever known. He is an anchor to my insanity and never acts embarassed when Im a fool. He can make me laugh like no other with just a stupid text. Im lucky yup yup I am.

I was drawn to FI's arms, they're muscular and tattooed.... mmmmm.

I also fell in love with his laugh. It's one of those laughs that make you laugh just because, and he cries when he laughs which makes me laugh even harder!

I also really love his bald head (he shaves) which is weird because when I met him, he had dreadlocks down to his back!!!!

Also, like Kim mentioned.. he is the mellow and go with the flow one... I'm high strung and in freak out mode pretty much all the time. So he balances me out.

Physically: He's tall, big blue eyes, cute hair and smile.

Emotionally: He's so kind to everyone, including animals which is amazing to me for some reason. The first few times we hung out at his house and seeing him cuddling with his cat and loving it so much just made me such a sucker for him! As weird as that sounds. We think the same way, and our conversations are that much easier to have, whether something serious or funny. He's very in tune to my emotions which is so helpful, sometimes he knows how I'm feeling about a situation before I even do. He supports me in everything I do. We make a perfect team.

One of the first things I noticed about my fiance was his sparkling green eyes. I've never seen any other eyes like them. They are kind and full of life. When he is really interested in something they spark!
Like several others have mentioned I love my fiance's arms. They are so strong, and when he hugs me I feel so safe!
Before I ever even liked my FI I loved his sense of humor. He can be really goofy sometimes, and so full of mischeif. He is so quick at coming up with comebacks.
My FI is a people person- which has helped bring me out of my shell. In many areas we compliment each other. He's either all or nothing- while I'm a bit more balanced.
At first I didn't want to be interested in my fiance because so many other girls were chasing him, and I DID NOT want to deal with that. Thankfully he kept after me (almost a year!) and I finally decided he was the one for me.

What has drawn us together the most is our mutal faith in the Lord. We are both Christians who want to serve God with our lives.

Cute thread!

Physically: (very) tall, dark, and handsome; makes me feel petite and feminine (this is an uncommon feeling for me). Great big smile, complete with cuuuute dimples! The first time I got a little bashful around him was the first time I saw him wear a suit; the man looks good!

Emotionally: Ditto Sammi, I am so in love with how gentle he is with animals! I think it is a very telling character trait. I'm patience to his eagerness, but he's mellow to my fiestiness. And of course, we make each other laugh so hard every single day we almost pee.

Physically: The first time I saw him I thought he was cute but too skinny HAHA! Turns out I happen to have a thing for skinny guys that I never really noticed. He has beautiful brown eyes like me and a gorgeous smile with perfect white teeth

Emotionally: I'd have to say that his sense of humor and personality is what really drew me in. We are exactly the same and are nerds and laugh at the stupidest stuff! He ALSO loves animals to death like me (and sammichele) and that really shows me a lot as well as how good of a dad he'll make one day. We are also opposites when it comes to money and stuff. I always want the moon and to be adventurous but he always reminds me about reality and keeps me grounded, but I always show him the fun things in life. It all balances out and we're perfect together. Also, we love the same music and the Tigers
