I stole this from a friend: "Its hard to be patient but enjoy all of the stages in your life. "Just a girlfriend" "engaged and planning a wedding" "Newlywed"....they are all fantastic and should be cherished moments and times in your life...not things to get rushed into the "next" stage. Life isnt a race or a competition."

I know I forget about the importance of the here and now sometimes and just think about the future.
Appreciating all the stages in life!

My B&M from Monday (I always forget what I'm going to post pretty much everyday and then remember after the fact): I am up 7 pounds since October :(  But if I can lose about 30-40 pounds by November, I can hopefully get off this medicine that makes me feel like crap every day, which is a huge motivator.

[QUOTE]We've only been married for 5 months now, but I'm already wanting a baby. Brad says not yet; he wants to wait 2 years. I'm really sad today about it for some reason.

I had "planned" to get married when I was 18 or 20ish.  I think if I had married my boyfriend then - one of us would be in prison now.  LOL!  I feel "old" but am much better off having waited...  a lot of friends my age (29) are already getting divorced because they got married so young.  I'm glad I waited!

RE: Enjoying your early married years - I will have a 5 year old stepson when we get married and we will only be "marrieds" and not "parents" every other week.  Sometimes this makes me sad, but I love the little dude and wouldn't trade him for all the free time in the world!

I can't seem to get my butt in gear this afternoon. I've been working nonstop all week, helping one of the appraisers here with California reports and we're finally done. But now that I have other work to do, all I can think about is 5 o'clock. It's still 2 hours away :-(

I love all the advice I get from you ladies. Ya'll always really are such a help. Laughing

Emi--I want to play with your baby too. I already have major baby fever, but we are going to try and wait as long as possible. We are so young, but we want a lot of kids, and do need to start before I'm 30! So sometime in the next 2-8 years...It should be interesting with Jay's medical training

    I'm way late, but...

Emi -- Kudos for being honest! And for still planning a trip to Italy! I love it.

Bdette- I totally fight the baby fever constantly. We're almost to our 1 year anniversary, and I'm starting to get people asking when we're planning a family. It doesn't help the baby fever at all!

A good baby fever solution is to read the birth posts by That Wife (Jenna Cole)

    http://thatwifeblog.com/

Some people would say it is gross and oversharing, but I applaud her for being very open and honest about something most people gloss over. Haha, it did make me think twice about how soon I want that baby though!
