Can anyone name this dress?

Hello! I have been trying very tedioously to find this dress online, but so far I haven't been successful. I was finally able to get into the shop and take some photos of it. Can anyone help me? The store refuses to tell you the designer of a dress until you buy it, rips the tags out, and doesn't allow you to take photos... that is, unless they put you in a dressing room by yourself. =)  Just trying to find the designer so I know if I'm getting a good deal and just for general peace of mind. It feels very shady to have to throw down $1,000 and not even know anything about what I'm buying!

  • Does the shop have a website? They will usually list the designers they sell, which could help narrow down your search if it turns out not to be AA.

  • It's nothing Alfred Angelo currently has on their website. Any ideas as to where to look for old collections? As for the dress store, they do not have a website and do not give out the names of the designers until you purchase the dress.
  • I had this same problem!...which I found to be annoying. I ended up going to a few different bridal shops...with my secret pictures I took...and asked if they had the dress or something like it. I ended up finding it again at my 3rd shop.  It went from 2100....to 1450!!!! So it was completely worth my extra work. Good luck!!!

I agree with PP...you could look on the shops website for a list of designers. or call the shop and ask what designers they carry. This will help narrow your search. Smile

  • I too would have guessed alfred angelo.

I went to a store like this one time but got so irritated too!  Can you ask them what the name of the green is and look at how they code the style number? That might help you figure out the brand. For example I was looking at a dress that had a "cafe" ribbon and I used that along with some other dress features to find it via google.
