  Skyler!  I knew there was one of my favorites that I forgot to mention.  I love Skyler's ring, but I think that's because it reminds me of mine a little.

  1.  Did you shop for your ring with your SO or was it a surprise?

  I gave him an idea of what to look for in terms of Cs and pics of rings I liked, and he did the rest. It was the best of both worlds, IMO.

  
  

  2.  Favorite memory from your proposal?

  H's little speech and how he proposed -- he was standing snuggled up behind me and whispering in my ear b/c he's not so good at talking about his feelings, and I felt him reach into his pocket, then he brought the ring box in front of me and opened it as he asked me to marry him. And then those first few moments just the two of us basking in being engaged.

  
  

  3.  Who did you call first after getting engaged?

  My parents, then his parents, then the friends who shopped with H and helped him pick out the ring. We went out for dinner with them to celebrate.

  
  

  4.  Did you have anyone react negatively?

  Nope!

  Honestly, I love them all. I'm always amazed by the variety.
