Wedding Officiant

Anyone know of a good wedding officiant in New Orleans?  I'm getting married on April 7th (the day before Easter) and I'm just doing the ceremony, no mass.  I'd be happy with a good JOP, Christian minister or even an aetheist wedding officiant (if that's even real thing lol)

Thanks!

I used Judge KK Norman ("The Love Judge").

She did a BEAUTIFUL job of officiating. Even though it was a civil ceremony, she still made it very special and romantic.  She pronounced my last name wrong one time (which really bugged me) but that could be easily fixed if you just tell her beforehand.

We used Rob Savoy, a local musician.  He met with us at a coffee shop prior to the wedding so we could get to know each other.  We talked about how we met, the ceremony, etc. He did a great job, and several guests commented about how sweet the ceremony was.

Rev. Tony Talavera - he owns the French Quarter Wedding Chapel, but he does offsite weddings as well. He's quirky and lovable, and he LOVES everything about weddings, marriages, relationships, etc. The website for the chapel is www.frenchquarterweddingchapel.com

We are using Rev. John Zimmer b/c he is one of the nicest people we've ever met!  He takes the time to learn about you individually and as a couple.  He is open to doing a religious ceremony, a non-religious ceremony or something in between.  He really has a great way of speaking and making you feel like you have known him (and he has known you) for a long time.  If I were you I'd set up a meet and greet.

I was in a wedding this past weekend and John Zimmer was the officiant. It was an AMAZING beautiful ceremony. They incorporated religion in it and we even said the Lord's Prayer. He seems so so nice and so geniune. I would have thought he had known the couple for years! ha! Happy Planning!
