Set-up Help

We just found out that our venue will not let us enter the premises until 1 hr before the wedding ceremony.  Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to dress the tables and chairs with linens and decorations?  We will have 10 guest tables with 8 chairs each.  Table cloth, organza cover, simple decorations, chair covers with sashes.  8 candles for each table will need to be lit.

We cannot afford to pay a caterer $100/hr x 4 staff to set these up for us!

Wedding is at st. pete beach on Friday 3/30 at 6:30 pm.

We are so stressed about this that I'm about to cry.Cry

    Can you hire a day of coordinator? Cherishedmoments does it for about a 50 an hour, I dont reccomend them for anything else but I think one hour is too close to the ceremony for you or a loved one to be setting up

    You have an hour b4, during the wedding, and extra time during cocktail hour.  You should be fine.

    But she cant do it by herself then-all her relatives will be getting prepped, dressed, having photos done, and doing the ceremony. It can take at least an hour to get everything done, at least. i would just pay someone to ease your mind!
