AW: 2nd dress fitting (PIP) & Checks galore!

I had my 2nd dress fitting with Louise! I love her more and more each time I meet with her! She is truly amazing and has such an eye for what she does! Anyways, my dress has part of the corset done, still needs to take in a good 2 inches on each side of my lower stomach and hips but the top is tight! YAY! It looks so different! You have to look at the difference from the first fitting in my bio to the second. I'm not a 100% sure I like the straps coming inward, I might like them just straight back.

 I also tried on jewelry with my dress and my mom was right when saying that I should just wear something basic like pearls because silver kind of clashes with my dress :( so chandelier earrings are out...boo! Let me know what you think of the pearl necklace in the pics, it's my late grandmothers and I think its beautiful, but it doesn't match the silver on my pearl earrings...BUT I think the gold almost matches my skin tone so you can really only see the pearl in person.

We also got a lot of our deposits and contracts signed this week, our registries pretty much done, STDs mailed out, wedding website pretty close to done, and my bachelorette party mostly planned. And I think we decided on a cruise for a honeymoon to the South Caribbean. Yay!

    beautiful!!  It's really starting to look awesome!  What cruise line are you going to use?  We really want to do a Southern Caribbean cruise too.

    LOVE IT!  Looks so good!

    Verjes - Are you guys going on your honeymoon in June?  FI and I are in struggles on where to go.  We feel that we shouldn't be spending money to go to the carribean in June when it's nice here, but have finally just decided to go right away even if it is June.  Since we're getting married the day before you, just wondering if you're going right away?

    Your dress looks amazing!  I love the pearl necklace and earrrings!  Generally I'm not a fan of mixing gold and silver jewelry, but I actually couldn't tell that the necklace was gold . . . Since it's your late grandmother's, I'd say go for it :)

    So so pretty! I love the pearls idea - the necklace is understated, but that's okay - it lets the focus be on your face and the dress (especially the neckline - so flattering).

    Kristigiles- We are going to go with Carnival cruise line. A family friend was a flight attendant for 25+ years and has been literally around the world and back and she said Carnival is the nicest, best food, customer service, etc. She talked us out of just going to an all inclusive resort and said that a cruise ship is the best, you have all the activities and food right at your hands and you get to see sooo much! Yay I'm excited!

    cltk- We were back and forth on that as well, it's nice here in June and we go boating all weekend in the summers so we didn't want to miss out on that, but most married couples say you want that time to relax and that you should really take one right away. Right now we are 80% sure of going right away. Where were you planning on going in the Caribean? I think the cruise ship we picked leaves on Monday or Tuesday so we would literally have to pack and leave the next day.
