Best Place to Dress Shop?

Hello! I'm from Rochester, NY but my family and most of my bridesmaids live in Pittsburgh. I'm coming down to dress shop this weekend so they can come with me. The problem is, I don't know where any dress shops are! What are the must-hit stores around Pittsburgh? Where did you get your dress?
Thanks in Advance!

If you need to get the most out of a bridal salon in very few days, I would start with MB Bride in Greensburg.  I actually didn't end up getting my gown there, but it wasn't for lack of trying!  I took two trips to the store because I was convinced my dress was there -- it just wasn't!

I ended up getting my dress at Carlisle's in the Strip District.  I'm not sure if I would recommend Carlisle's, though, if you're on a time crunch.  They don't have a huge selection of dresses (plus it's in a completely different direction as MB Bride).

If you plan on coming this weekend, I would definitely start making appointments.  Saturdays are nuts at any salon.  I tried to make my appointments for first thing in the morning.  It was slightly less hectic.

I got mine at Bridal beginning and they really worked their butts off to help me find THE dress.  I pretty much went to every shop in pittsburgh...MB, carlisle's, white orchid, davids, alred angelo, candelinas, gown company, clarissas..u name it!  MB did have a huge selection but my dress just wasn't there but their service was great.  Dorothy at bridal beginning has a knack for finding THE dress.  I really had started to think I wasn't going to find one!  Leslie is also awesome.  Good luck!

Thanks for the rec's! I made an appointment at MB Bride and also the Exquisite Bride. I only made two because they're so far outside the city. I might come back another weekend to hit up some others if I don't find a dress. Ann Gregory looked really nice!

My friends and I call Dorothy at Bridal Beginning "Dorothy the Magic Dress Lady"! Including me, she has found at least 4 of my friends "the dress". She is great.
