Outdoor Wedding Venues

Hi All,
I'm new to the board, somewhat new to the Toledo area AND just engaged!
I'm looking for advice on an outdoor wedding venue (preferably for the ceremony and reception) in the Toledo area. The guest list will probably include around 200 people. So far I've looked into the Metroparks and Toledo Botanical Gardens. Any other options? Thanks!

Congratulations on your engagement!! Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about the outdoor venues, but good luck with your search! Have you set a date yet?

Schedel Gardens can do outdoor for both ceremony and reception.

Several places have an outdoor area available and set up with a gazebo or something along those lines for your ceremony and then you would have the reception inside their hall.  Some that I know of are: Maumee Bay, Monclova Community Center, Nazareth Hall, Olander Park, and likely many more.

We chose to have our ceremony outdoors though we were not willing to deal with an outdoor reception.  That just seemed like so much hassle and we didn't want that extra stress.  Honestly the stress of an outdoor ceremony was enough for me!  That being said, we were married at Pearson Park and we were both quite happy with the metropark wedding and would definitely give them an A if you're considering that option.  If there is any other advice I can offer, just ask!  Good luck in your search.

Many of the country clubs have locations for outdoor weddings.  I don't know for sure about outdoor receptions, but many have nice patio areas for guests to mingle and hang out outdoors.

We are getting married outdoors at Nazareth Hall, but I don't think they let you have the reception outdoors as well.

Definitely check out Schedel Gardens! We wanted our wedding there, but then looked into how much it was to rent a tent, and changed our minds, lol.

    Good luck and welcome :)

I saw a beautiful pic of an outdoor wedding/ reception at Sylvania Country Club. I'm not sure of the details on max. guests there, but you should definitely look into it. Very pretty :) Good luck and congrats!!

I am getting married at Highland Meadows in Sylvania.  The ceremony is outside and the reception is inside.

Also try Toledo Country Club, they have a really nice outdoor area!

    Good luck ;)
