If we're going to get really technical as far as what's relevant and irrelevant, then anything that's not "snarky" (shudder) is irrelevant to this board. So we're all far too nice for this board.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the point is that instead of just saying what you have to say in the original post, to the original poster, you drag it over here in hopes that we'll jump in and bash her with you. Or whatever it is you're hoping to accomplish. Thus, creating more drama.

It doesn't work that way, Amber. This isn't like my neighborhood forum, where there's a section for news and another for traffic and still another for unrelated chit chat. Each of the larger boards is a community unto itself, so you're going to find social threads on Etiquette that aren't directly related to etiquette, just like you'll find social threads on Wedding Party that aren't directly related to wedding parties and social threads on Wedding Woes that aren't directly related to wedding woes. It's just how things work around here, so there's no point at all in being the topic police. It's actually pretty annoying.

How is what I posted irelevant? The point of the board is to talk and not to be nice about it. The "I hate this dog and wish it were dead, but I love animals and will be a great mommy" girl posted a thread on a different board, trying to get attenetion. I just thought that people here would like to know about it.

Even dog haters have actual questions. Perhaps she actually needed an answer to that question. How is it different from you posting THIS to get attention? You didn't have a question, so based on my spin on your logic, your post is actually more attention seeking than hers.

Plus, many of us here on SB lurk and/or post on E. If we don't, then we really don't care what goes on there. And? I really don't care when someone has a question, even if the person is a dog hating butthead moron. But that might just be me.

No, I like it too. That's not what I meant. I MEANT, I don't like attitude when it's wrong.

Give attitude for something someone was wrong for; (See Celle's post-flame on me). I accept it, and like it. But when multiple people are telling someone they're wrong, just don't give attitude. It makes you look like an idiot.
