In HS, a LOT. I was a big drama nerd and was involved in the two drama clubs (one "honor society", one "interest club") and a children's theater troupe. I was secretary for the drama honor society for two years and then VP my senior year, and then I was VP of the children's group my junior year and president my senior year. I was also in a lot of the plays that were put on my the school. That was pretty much all I did, but I was also in National Honor Society (I got kicked out for not going to enough meetings though, whoops), and I think a couple of the other honor societies in name only.

In college, I served on student government one year (my junior year, I think?) and was a tour guide all four years on campus, but my biggest involvement was new student orientation. I was an orientation leader my sophomore and junior year, and then my senior year was one of the student leaders of the orientation leaders and was in charge of a group of about ten (?) student OLs.

Wow, I feel nerdy, ha ha.

  • I was involved in a lot of music groups - concert choir, ladies choir, concert band, stage band and the music council.

    FI, not so much.

  • HS I was an over achiever haha.  I Cheerlead for Freshman year, but realized my love was Field Hockey so I went back to that Soph-Senior year.  Chorus, Class Treasurer and minor roles in school plays.  I mentored some in the elementry school, and did a lot of activities with my church like fixing up local houses etc.

College I was active in the Math Honor Society, and I was in, but not active in two other honor societies.  That's about it, unless you want to count QUEEN of the beer pong table lol

  • HS: played French horn so a lot of band stuff, including marching band and pep band. Also played water polo and took ballet/jazz/pointe classes.

College: Does football count?! It requires some stamina and training for kegs 'n eggs and cheering on the BUCKEYES! Also, I played in band and a brass ensemble; was involved in the student public relations group (PRSSA) and wrote for the Ohio State yearbook.
  • Choir/Band/Drama...Volleyball

FI, not so much either... he was into hockey and CARS
    still into cars...

has his baby in the garage his souped up 1984 Monte Carlo SS, when he starts that thing the whole house vibrates like a locomotive going by lol
  • I played Volleyball in HS and college, pretty good for someone who is 5'1!
  • In high school I was on the staff for the school's literary magazine, in environmental club and drama club, and I sang in three different choral ensembles because I'm the biggest music nerd ever, LOL. In college I mainly dealt with the social work club because that was my major. Some students tried to start a gay straight alliance once and I was in on that, but being a Catholic college it unfortunately didn't get very far.

  • High School: Girls Varsity Bowling (Yeah, we had bowling), choir, SADD

College: Habitat for Humanity, Nursing Club, Intramural Softball

I'm trying to get into wish-granting for Make-A-Wish but I seem to be working every time they have training!  The next training is October 27, so I am pretty sure I can't go as I'll have just taken off two weeks of work!

I feel like I don't do anything now and I get on FI's case about his bowling league.  It drives me CRAZY that it is at dinner time.  It would be one thing if he could come home from work, eat dinner and go there but as it is he has to run home, change and run out.  He is there for over three hours and it isn't because he is hanging out extra and drinking beer!  He always wants me to go visit him but his team mates tease me and I don't like it.  They always pretend they were just talking about me when I showed up.  Sooo annoying.  I know it is just joking but I don't appreciate it.

  • I was in the HS musicals as well as some community theater.  I also danced and taught it too which I did until I was about 25.  In HS I was a Big Sister and did some peer mediation.  Freshman year of college I did cheerleading and then after that I coached several seasons of Pop Warner and one season for the local middle school.

  • All the activities I did in HS were during school hours...not sure if that counts as extra curricular.
During 4 years I was involved in: Student Council; Milestones Christian Fellowship; Environmental Club; Amnesty International.

I did student council for 3 years, Milestones for 1 year, Environmental for a semester and Amnesty for a semester.

I did nothing in college because all my free time was spent with my then boyfriend, current fiance!

  • HS- Band (Marching, Pep and Concert Band) Choir during my senior year, Muse Machine (It's pretty much just an opportunity to see live theater in Dayton for a discounted ticket price)

College-Marching Band (it's pretty much how FI and I met), Kappa Phi, Gaming Society (pretty much my whole circle of friends would get together Friday nights and play role playing games...I am a geek)

  • In High School I was on the tennis team all 4 years, did band my first year then switched to chorus for the last 3.  In college, I did chorus freshman year and participated in Swing Society (swing dancing) sophomore year through grad school; I taught lessons for 2 years.  I also participated in ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) but that was more to hang out with friends from my major.
  • In high school I was in the 16-20 person select choir and as a senior I sang for the Jazz Ensemble. I spent some time helping teach a keyboarding class in my town middle school. I had a tiny part in a play one year and was in the crew for a one act. In college I was working...

  • In HS I was big into Drama..also lettered in tennis but I wasn't very good..I'm even worse now but I miss playing. I couldn't do anythinf but school in college because I paid for everything myself..I was never able to finish. FI was a big sports buff...played football and baseball. He was offered to go to college and play but he hurt his back. So he ended up just going to the tech school getting a degree and not working in his field. He does still play in a adult male softball league. He said after last year though that he was done...and retiring.

I also am on the executive board for my statewide professional organization. I'm also helping to plan the statewide conference for October in our area (a week after the wedding, what was I thinking getting involved with that?).
  • Oh, I also did band!! I played flute in concert band in grade 9.

I didn't realize we were talking out our Fi's too...He did some sports (I think lacrosse and archery) in Hs and nothing in college.

  • I tried a few things in high school, drama club, marching band, its academic, color guard... In college I joined the legislature group, student services, and women studies but I didn't really have much time in the later years aa the tempo of school work increased. I went to a small womens college so there weren't that many options

  • I played volleyball in high school and miss it so much! I wish I could find a team that I could join and just do for fun! I was also part of the National Honor society and secretary for Student council. I have not participated in any extracurricular activities in College, but I am just starting a one year program and will probably be joining something.
