bEACH WEDDING

Does anybody know if we get married on the beach just by the water if we have to get any kind of permit?

One of my friends did a beach wedding and she found that it depended on the beach (if it was a city or state beach). She got married at a smaller city beach and there was no fee but the city couldn't guarantee that her desired spot would be available and that it wouldn't be crowded.

I'm pretty sure most of them require a permit...if they allow ceremonies at all. I suggest finding a beach you would like to get married at and seeing if they allow ceremonies and if they do, if they require a permit.
