Woot, woot! It's my Friday, I got paid today, and my paycheck is up about $200 over last month. Let's hear it for that step increase in pay! I wish we didn't have 8 furlough days factored in, but at least I have a job I LOVE.

That's awesome but BOO for furlough days. When do you have to take them? Is it like once a month? T just got switched to monthly paychecks, he gets his first one tomorrow. It's so weird that he won't get another one until the end of Sept.

Oh hai's. I've been really busy today. Yesterday was my last 'afterglow' day so I'm back and focused on what I actually need to be doing! haha

Stacks, we have one tomorrow, Election day, December 21, March 29, and May 28-31. Those last 4 days mean that we have to move exams up by an entire week. To "make up for it" as far as time, we have extended the school day by 8 minutes. Right, because 1 extra minute per period TOTALLY makes up for missing 8 days.

Snippy, I'm glad you had such a great time at Coldplay. Cfas, GL in your half-marathon. The most I've ever run at one time was 7 miles at the end of a triathlon. Blech.

Oh herro. I'm exhausted. I was up early baking cupcakes for a friend's birthday tonight. It's Knit Night and I'm already too tired to even want to go. I have class in an hour, and then back to work, and then I have to go end this stupid thing with Best Buy and the Kindle (if it's not in today, I'm going to demand a refund), and then pick up a birthday gift, and then out to my friend's. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Thank God for three-day weekends, though!

Yup, good ole Labor day. Mine we'll have Isaac rain, so I plan on curling up on the couch in sweats and watching movies all day.

Morning. I've got a few minutes before I have to head for work. Most of yesterday was tied up with an internal audit so I may actuall be busy today. After work I'm planning to head for the pool. My goal is 30 minutes, easy laps.

Fruit loop seems to have kicked it up a notch (haha... pardon the pun) with the kicking and moving in the past few days. I kinda like it

Morning all! I decided to sleep in a bit this morning... now I'm up and trying to order books for this semester. My math book is $140. If she allowed us to order the previous addition (not even 3 years old), it would be $14. Seriously?

Meegles - I have stepparents... one who raised me and one who did not. They were both on the invite to our wedding, and they were both treated exactly as my bio parents at the wedding... if for no reason other than to make my bio parents happy. (In reality, I like them both and wanted them to be happy, too, but I know it made my mom & dad happy, too, to see their spouses honored.) NYU needs a beat-down with an etiquette book.

Morning! Beautiful day here in the NE this morning for a run. Regular group ran from the house this a.m. for our usual 5.25 miles. Felt good but would have felt better had I not made a bad shoe decision on Monday and blistered the back of my heels. Sometimes I am an idiot.

It's kind of dark and looking like it might do something rainy here today. Haven't looked at the forecast but it's cooler, at least.

Loop, that is cool about Fruit Loop. He/she must be getting big enough that you can feel smaller movements. So exciting!

I have lots of wedding crap to do today. Nine days, you guys! AAAHHH!
