I know there are more things which I can't think of at this very moment! LOL!  Surprised

  • It sounds like you are in great shape!  I'm August 18, but here is my to-do list.  

    Final dress fitting and pick up dress
    Print programs
    Send day-of schedule to wedding party
    Finish up and wrap gifts for parents, wedding party, and officiant
    Write letters for wine box and write toasts
    Tie ribbons around books for centerpieces
    Call vendors to confirm arrival times
    Make emergency kit
    Pick up cake pops for rehearsal dinner
    Get manicure and pedicure
  • Looks like we have another thing in common! haha, im getting married the 17th too!
    This post just stressed me out tho!!!!

    I have so much to do.

    Go over contact for venue
    Phone meeting with photographer
    Teeth cleaning 
    Get veil
    Pick up dress
    Bridal party/parents gifts
    Pick music
    Make seating sign
    Count out bubbles and make more if i need too
    Find a head piece
    Find shoes for LO
    Print a bunch of stuff at staples
    Print water bottle labes and adhere
    Buy underwear to wear
    Find new shoes maybe? I dont really like the ones i have and i dont thikn they go
    Drop off marraige license
    Get sand ceremony stuff
    Make aisle decor
    Get card box or something
    Make guest book thing
    Make sign for the 2 above
    Mani pedi
    Get eye brows waxed
    Im sure theres a million more things!!
    Cry in a corner because there so much to do!!

  • I just typed this up and it ate my post with some error message. :/ grrr
    Anyways, Sooooo excited!

    -Order programs
    -RSVP dealine is Sunday (odd day, I know)
    -Call with those who didn't RSVP
    -Escort cards
    -Table numbers
    -Favors
    -BP gifts
    -Hair trial (come to think of it, that might be Thursday..)
    -Call to confirm above trial :p
    -Potentially do kids bags (only about 7 kids)
    -Get FI bow tie for his uniform
    -Order Jimmy Johns for the gang for day of
    -Talk with DJ
    -Figure out "beer cake" for the guys
    -Seating chart
    -Pack for the move the week after the wedding
    -Pick up FI from the airport the day before the wedding!!!!! It has been 6 months and I can't wait for that hug!

  • - reserve hotel rooms for FI and his groomsmen (procrastinator, ugh!)
    - put favors in favor bags
    - DIY cones for lavender (to toss as we walk up the aisle)
    - finish playlists for morning-of and reception
    - make flower girl gift
    - finish day-of schedule
    - get more checks from the bank for our wedding account
    - put together an emergency kit
    - GET THE MARRIAGE LICENSE WOOOO HOOOO HURRRAAAYYY!!!

    So I'm definitely in the home stretch. Finding enough music for 5.5 hours of music is going to be time-consuming (our band backed out at the last second, boooo!), but none of it should be too hard.
    My bridal shower and bachelorette party are tomorrow.... I think my mom is more excited about the bridal shower (she planned and payed for most of it) than I am!

  • Our to-do list isn't too terrible or time consuming and is mainly consisting of purchases that we can't make until next weekend LOL

    DIY
    - finalize and print programs (this will take maybe one night. we're just doing half sheets of 80 lb. card stock printed front and back. Keeping it simple :D
    - make a sign for our calendar (we're going to have a calendar where guests can find and write down their birthdays and anniversaries)
    - add wrist straps to corsages
    - make 2 more bouts - just in case
    - make one special corsage / bout for my aunt (she's reading and she prefers pin on corsages)
    - finish the Eiffel Tower cupcake stand (Greg needs to paint the rings that go around it)
    - Print and glue in pictures in the windows of the cardhouse
    - Sew our names and the date into my wedding dress.
    - Design and print wedding announcements

    $$$
    - tulle for hanging in the reception hall
    - wine (gifts for our readers)
    - a glass carafe and lemons for decor
    - calendar
    - earrings for me?
    - toasting glasses?? (we don't even know if we're going to bother with this)
    - go get our thumbprint poster printed since Vista Print sent me a HORRIBLE looking one (it was seriously SO bad even though I made it according to their standards.
    - get a frame for the thumbprint poster and the no-seating plan poster.
