It's the morning after, I had to wait to fully replay everything on here because I was truly exhausted last night. Yesterday morning I woke up with a boyfriend today with a fianc . It's amazing.
Story:
We're visiting my parents in Minnesota and decided to go on a one day outing without my son it was a cave tour and i'm pretty sure my 22 month old would of froze. So my parents said they would take him and don't worry about hurrying back the love of their grandson is leaps and bound. So we headed to Mystery Cave, the largest cave in Minnesota. And as we went down there, the bf was increasingly quieter and quieter.
Mystery Cave is inside of a state park and after the cave tour we went for a drive. Being that we are from Florida, the leaves changing on the trees is truly spectacular to look at.
So we drove to a little campground and he asked me if I wanted to take a walk and crunch some leaves. I'm a total kid at heart so away I went crunching. He pointed out that we were next to a creek and he wanted to to take a closer look. So I had to climb over a fallen log to get there. I am clumsy and swatted him for even mentioning it, but I went over because frankly, I didn't want to be standing on the log in the first place.
There was a little clearance of grass and he looked at me and hugged me. And then it all clicked inside my mind. He brought the ring to Minnesota! Holy crap he's gonna propose. And then he asked me the important question and my answer was, "get on your knee and ask again" he started to laugh but got down and I said "well of course I will marry you, duh." Romantic right? I'm a bit of a sarcastic funny chick.
Where did we celebrate in the middle of nowhere but at dairy queen. It was perfect for us because I brought the funny and he brought the goofy and that's how we are.
We most likely will wait for June 2014 because he's agreed to my dream venue that is usually booked way in advance, and because my brother is deployed right now and I couldn't see getting married without him there.
