Accountability - Friday

Yay, we made it to the end of the week ladies! I didnt' work out yesterday (my meeting ran too late, by the time I got home I was exhausted and the gym was closed) but we have NOTHING planned tonight so there is a gym trip right after work :) Good news is I stayed under my calories on MFP yesterday BUT not too far under! I did good :P lol

How was everything for you ladies yesterday? Any accomplishments?

Re: Accountability - Friday

  • I've been on a sugar binge lately it seems, although, I'm still staying within my weight watchers points. I'm now in the 120's (129.8.... barely, but it's still in the 120's!) ha! My heaviest was around 155ish.

I'm going to try to be good working out this weekend- tomorrow we have a reception for a christening and I don't know what kind of deliciousness will be there (it's at a mansion basically- the last time I was there for the baby shower there was all sort of food passed by butlers...)

  • Last night was a fail for me.  I had a little bit of a reaction to the Tdap booster I got yesterday.  Tonight I wont be able to work out but Saturday will involve a lot of walking so I'm looking forward to that :)
  • I am going to have to work out really good  Sat late morning/early afternoon because I have a feeling this big gala I'm going to Sat is going to have some big temptations food wise lol
  • I did good yesterday.  JM DVD after work and a 20 minute walk with the dogs.  Supper was really healthy, grilled salmon and romaine lettuce with kale chips.  Hopefully I can keep the momentum going throughout the weekend.  I plan on doing another JM workout tonight and tomorrow morning since we have a busy day planned for tomorrow.

    Have a great weekend!!

  • abcollins - what JM DVD do you do?  I just got a copy of 30 day shred, and wow.  It's rough.  I haven't quite made it all the way through yet, but I'm keeping with it.

Yesterday was bad food-wise, and ok exercise-wise.  Thai for lunch, pizza for dinner AND I had some of FI's pasta.  I walked two miles, so that was good.

I really need to be on the ball this weekend.  Will do 30 day shred tonight and try to make it all the way through.  Gym Saturday and Sunday, and hopefully I can fit a walk with the dog in there too.
  • Yesturday was good, worked out for 50 min and stayed under my calorie goal. Tonight I'm meeting FI at the gym after work to get me some cardio!
  • I own 30 day shred but haven't really done much with it, also own P90X and haven't done much with it... debating trying to get in the habit of doing one of them regularily
  • kwortman- It's 30 day shred.  I like it, I'm always sore after working it.  Just keep with it, you'll be able to tell that your stamina and endurance have picked up in just a few short days!  Which workout are you doing?  I usually alternate between the 3 so that I don't get bored.

  • Ya I have both the 30 day shed and P90x as well. A couple years ago I was doing p90x religiously but haven't touched it in at least a year or 2! I find I get bored very easily and if I don't see results quickly I feel like it's not working and I move onto something else. I think I just need to realize that these things take time and stick with it.
  • Man, i did 3 spin classes in 5 days and I'm wiped!!
Tomorrow I'm planning on trying the JM shred with weights so I can put my kettle bells to use and hopefully do some yoga on Sunday (or switch that depending on my energy level).

  • I didn't work out yesterday.  I was waiting for FI to get home to go, and as soon as he got home he fell asleep.  So that sucked away all my motivation.  I'm not waititng for FI tonight.  I'm going to hit the gym for some lifting as soon as I throw the next load of laundry in the dryer, then come home and take my dog on a jog.
