Our neighbors are driving me INSANE. They were so incredibly loud this weekend I woke up every hour or two to them shouting and doing something to shake the entire floor in not only their apartment, but ours. And this is what I looked like:

I'm going to need coffee. Lots of coffee.

I love rain! I wish I could have stayed home, drank coffee, and played Mah Jongg all day!

This is probably a P&R. Today is a lab day so I'm going to be on my toes a lot.

Hey girls, if any of you or your FIs/Hs have old jeans you don't wear anymore (still need to be in gently worn condition), I will happily take them off your hands to give to students who forget to wear long pants on lab days. I had a kid tell me the other day he actually doesn't own any pants. He may or may not be telling the truth, but if I had a secret stockpile of pants, I could avoid this problem.

This. Even worse is that my dog is absolutely terrified of umbrellas (even when they're rolled up in their little packages) so as soon as he sees it, any progress we made in obedience school over the years is rendered useless.

I hate the rain and supervisors that try to make life ridiculous....although on a brighter side..Kitty is behaving better and I'm going dress shopping Wednesday!

I love the rain but it's making my sinuses act up which is never a fun way to start the week. I also have a 4 and 1/2 hour all company meeting this afternoon ... fun times!

I had a Bridezilla moment yesterday afternoon, when FI asked me if we could add on more invites... Apparently a member of our wedding party called asking if we had invited about 6 additional people because they were asking her why FI didn't send them an invite. My blow up included me telling him "you can, and they are Army people so I expect them to understand what a deadline is when it comes to the RSVP date"

Between that and the whole hotel-room issue, I want to tell people to just go away.

My usual commute to work: 15-20 minutes (with traffic)

Today's commute to work: 1 hr, 15 minutes.

It's definitely a Monday! Also, massive headache caused by trying to figure out invitation issues AND dreading dealing with Verizon after work today to upgrade my phone.

Ugh. That happened to us after save-the-dates. We got a call from MIL panicked because we hadn't invited some random members of her various circles. People she expected to (and who did) decline. I was like, "Why bother if they're not coming anyway?!"

(1) Our document software at work is down so I can do no work

(2) Even if the document software worked, I have no work to do

(3) My boss is "working from home" today, so the billable hours I can't do today I will have to make up on the weekends sometime, even though I have no work

(4) On Sunday DH starts going to Houston 5 nights a week for the next 3 months.

Drink, anyone?

My FMIL went to look at restaurant for the rehearsal dinner the other day...she keeps telling me she "has no idea what I want"

Except that I told her specifically of a restaurant that I knew was close and someone else used. She didn't even include it in her list.

Yes, they are all OOT too; I was like at this point there is no hotel in the vicinity with a room for them on Saturday night. FI told me "well I will just call our hotel and tell them they need to fix this problem". Right, Groomzilla. He reminds me of the people I deal with in December who don't understand what premium season means and why I would be sold out on the busiest night of the week.

Just one more month!

LOVE this rain, and like someone else mentioned, appreciate on days like this that I work from home so I don't have to deal Kristan like commutes!! My only B&M is DH being OOT all week long, which stinks for sleeping. BUT, can't really use that one since Amanda has to deal with it all the time!

Oh I will! Its super nerve racking because I don't have a lot of time to find one if I have to get one ordered, but I almost have no clue where to start!! I think I'm going to go to Bridal Co first because of the large selection, but it is a bit far.

My short hair dog is terrified of wet ground and rain, my long hair dog LOOOVES it. Grrrr..... My fiance is trying to get used to living with dogs at all. This made for a REALLY fun morning.

Haha, yeah. My shepherd loves to play in White Rock Lake, but HATES walking in wet grass, so she all but refused to go to the bathroom today. She is also afraid of thunder and can hear it from miles away, so she was pretty upset this morning.

All 3 of our dogs decided they needed out at 2:30 this morning, when it was pouring. My schnauzer came back to bed and decided he was gonna crawl under the covers on my side to dry himself off. Not fun!
