So I never thought sending out invitations would bring so much stress on a person!
Here is where it started, I invited my Aunt D to please my Grandmother. Aunt D is my Mom's sister and they do not get along at all! My Grandmother who has always been so good to me (going above and beyond for me whenever possible), she will be 90 this weekend and I figured that I could do this for her.
So invites are out and I didn't invite my Aunt's sons that also live locally. She went as far to tell my Grandmother that she would be more comfortable at the wedding if her sons were there. Ok, maybe I should have invited them to start with, but I didn't since I don't have anything to do with them any other times. But in order to keep peace I now going to invite them.
What gets me is why, is the rest of my family so worried about upsetting people we don't normally have anything to do with anyway! I am sure I sound a little bratty about this but I didn't want to invite any of them to start with, everywhere they go drama follows and that the last thing I want at the wedding. But alas I am doing this for my Grandmother and no one else!
