It is shiny here, too! I'm so happy to see some shine for once knowing that it isn't just heating up the air to result in an even more turbulent storm within a few hours.
Unfortunately my d!ipsh!t husband let M1 get out of bed at 4:30 and watch tv. Now I get to deal with the aftermath- a whiny brat who finally fell asleep, but not at normal nap time. Grrrrr. We will have words tonight. I know it's easier at the moment to let the kid get up, but it effs him up for the next couple of days.

Yes, all clear here. Hallalujah!! We had rain all day yesterday, but nothing of the ugliness further south. Hearing stories out of Alabama is making me sick.
Tree guy is booked but probably won't make it here until next week.
