    I got to "work from home" today (aka day off).  So that's nice! Spent the morning with FI, and he reminded me this is why we can never both work from home - we can't keep our hands off each other!  But it is a really nice treat once in awhile.  Now I'm going to make cookies, because I feel like it and that's just all there is to it!

    Gotta pick up the house and put away laundry, like always.  Hmm, what else?  Nothing, just relaxing!  Except for, you know, annoying things to take care of, as always.

    I spent my morning on the phone trying to sort out a stupid mess.  I had applied for a credit card to get some extra airline miles, and I got the notice today that I was rejected due to some issue on my credit report.  Er, wha?!  So I pull a free credit report, and sure enough, this medical billing issue from a year ago pops up.  It had been resolved ages ago, but apparently the collections agency decided to still report it.  So I called the collections agency, called the insurance company, tried to call the x-ray facility which initiated the claim.  Short version - I had x-rays done a year ago, called my insurance for an in-network location.  Went to said in-network location.  Except the location billed the insurance using a different company name that wasn't on its approved vendors list.  Stupid stupid stupid!  And then they waited until 6 months later to tell me the insurance company had rejected their claim and it was now my responsibility.  So I spent hours on the phone earlier this spring trying to sort this out, had to file an appeal with the insurance company, and then it was all solved.  Yay! Except apparently the collections agency never got the memo.  Knowing Miami ethics, the x-ray facility probably thought I'd still pay and they'd be able to double-dip the system.

    So I spent another 2 hours on the phone this morning sorting it out.  But it's done now.  I hope.  I got the explanation of benefits from the insurance company and faxed it to the collections agency, and they're going to withdraw the complaint.  And despite that, I do have an excellent credit rating!  I was really pleasantly surprised.  Nearly 800!  Wooo hooo!

    Mostly just hanging out, party thing at Fi's commander's house, and our second session of premarital counseling! I'm looking forward to it :)

    Fi's birthday is next week on a day he has to work about 16 hours... so we're elebrating Saturday with:
    Breakast (I'm making his mom's breakfast caserole that he dies over)
    3 hour brewery tour in Seattle
    Lunch at the Athenian Inn (where Sleepless in Seattle was filmed)
    Seeing the Freemont Troll (it's something he's been dying to see in Seattle)
    Kayaking on Greenlake
    Dinner and bar hopping with friends

    He has no idea about any of this either :]

    Cal- That sucks so bad. Thank god I did a random credit check on myself one time because the library took me to collections for a NINE DOLLAR FINE that I didn't know I had! I moved counties, changed libraries and I guess didn't pay my fine so they sent me. I was pissed. Nine dollars! Come on!

    Frist- That sounds so fun. I hope you have a great time.


    We are organizing our bedroom tomorrow- kinda like spring cleaning meets hoarders. We are not close to being hoarders because one ounce of clutter drives me up a wall. So we are getting all that clutter and getting it out! I will throw away anything we haven't used in 6 months.

    I think he is going out hang out with his best friend this weekend which means I get a girly night of tv all to myself. I might get some junk food.

    Only if you're okay with me just throwing sh!t out! Like going to town with numerous trash cans.

    I CAN'T wait to do this tomorrow.

    Also- I'm a teacher and I'm pretty sure that is what started my 6 month rule. Kids give me lotions, mugs, wooden apples, etc. If I didn't use the 6 month rule, we'd be on the show hoarders.

    Oh I'm so excited time for a red eye to WA on sunday. Yay for a "vacation" (PCS) and work on saturday but I always work on saturdays so thats pretty normal. I know what you mean abotu wanting to clean everything out when I go through things for the packing I'l be making another ditch it all run.

    I worked all day today and am exhausted and work again tomorrow!  That's all that I have planned!  Pretty lame and boring!!  And counting the days until I get to see FI! :)  seems like the days are going by slower and slower!! lol
    OH and FI is officially a pilot! He graduated from flight school yesterday :)
