Opinions, betches!

So... number55's Coach gifts are awesome and I haven't thought of what to get my girls yet, but I'd like a few opinions on some jewelry I'm thinking about getting.

Their dresses are these pewter ones from David's Bridal:

Okay - number one:

I think #2 looks cheap (sorry) and #3 looks overdone.

Thanks roxy - I should add that any opinions on the jewelry (like Roxy said - cheap or overdone) is actually much appreciated. I don't want my girls looking cheap!

I like 1 the best. I think 2 is a little "hey follow the necklace down to my boobs" and 3 may not be their style to wear after the wedding. (but it might be, I don't know them). 1 is just a very elegant necklace.

And for that price I think I might buy it myself...save page...

Edit: Katie has a point though, for wearing again in the future I'd go with pearls. I do like number 3 though.

Okay - for girls who think pearls - do you think light pink or grey pearls would look okay with that dark grey dress or would it look kinda, I dunno, gothic or something (I think I have a word fail)

I like pretty much most of what is on her shop and you can pick the colours...you could do grey and pink...are your flowers going to be pink?

Honestly, I don't like any of them.

I think they look too cheap matchy matchy bridesmaid-y, which I'm sure doesn't help you at all.

I would probably do pearls and do something a little different for each girl. Like this necklace for one:

ETA: Of the 3 original choices, I like the first one. If you are doing light pink flowers I think pink pearls would be thebomb.com though.

Our flowers are going to be wine (burgundy) and light pink. My bouquet will have wine, light pink and ivory.

I think gray would be too much grey and I'm not a fan of pink so can't have a non-bias vote on that color

How about white but not in the round shape, but the more oval ones?

I would do pink pearls. I have pink and grey, and the grey ones I have look kind of purple.
I also just really like pink pearls. They have a hint of color without it being overpowering.

I love #1 because it's beautiful and classy. #2 looked cheap and I've seen #3 a million times before. Hope that helps!

I also agree that pearls always look classy but I'm not a fan of colored pearls, but I think it's because I have all of these colored pearls from the 10th grade... =/

I LOVE your dresses!

I love the first one--it looks antique-y and cool.

The second one is okay, but I think it looks cheap and is too long.

I hate flowers in jewelry. IDK why.

I like the idea of pearls, though, to coordinate without being matchy-matchy. So #1 or pearls.

I should add that my opinion is definitely influenced by my dislike for rhinestones, so if you like rhinestones take that with a grain of salt. Also, I really really love pearls.

AATB...I bought my girls pearls (necklaces and earrings) from her...you can see them in my bio...what I chose was way simpler than the link I showed you...they aren't 'heavy' expensive pearls by any means but they look nice I think.

My thing with WR jewelry is that I am buying it for them for my wedding (I didn't do matchy matchy in colours but I did in style) but it might not be their taste so I didn't want to spend too much money on things they might not wear again. So when I was looking for jewelry, clutches and pashminas I set a budget based on what I would spend on something I might never wear again and went with that (x4!)...

I like colored pearls some days, and on other days, NO.

I worry that if I get them colored pearls, I will hate it on my wedding day - but there is NO white anywhere in our wedding. The guys are wearing all black, and then wine ties and grey vests. My dress is ivory... and my pearls are ivory.

And even though I *know* it doesn't really matter in the big scheme of things if the girls wear white pearls... it would bug the shiit out of me that they were white and not ivory, and I'm not sure if the ivory goes with the grey.

I'm probably thinking way too much about this.
