Well it's an extra long weekend for me which just started today and that feels awesome :) I don't have any classes on Fridays, and I have Monday off to get some immunizations done.

I'm trying out some new recipes this weekend so I went to the grocery store and just about everything I had to buy that was expensive was on sale! I love that.

yay!  I'm 99.9% sure I still have mine :(  But that's okay - I just need to work harder, haha.  I'm going to kill this cold thing by the end of the weekend.

And if it's gone by Sunday, we might go to restaurant week by us.  I <3 fancy new restaurants.  But obviously, they're much better if you can taste what they're serving you.

Also, I got like 3000 free nookbooks today.  So it was really a good day.

My boyfriend is the best!  Laughing

I've been swooning all day over how thoughtful and sweet he's being.  I cannot wait to spend the weekend with him on this getaway he's planned!  It's going to be awesome.

Yesterday was my awesome day of little things. Today not so much. I'll talk about yesterday. My boyfriend's boss had a talk with him yesterday. His boss wants my guy to help him sell his airplane. My guy's dream job would be to sell airplanes. *victory dance* He also got his Christmas bonus. Little delayed, but anyways...

I got to see several booms and stayed pretty busy at work. They trusted me with writing up a section of the report, which was kind of a big deal to me. So last night we went out to eat to celebrate.

Blackberry muffins mentioned above AND a fabulous goat cheese called Purple Haze. It's goat cheese and lavender. Awesome. We'll have goat cheese, crackers and apple slices tonight while the pizza is baking.

There's a beer called Purple Haze.  It's blueberry flavored, but tastes like when you accidentally spray perfume in your mouth.

Oooooh... I've had that, it's incredible!

You also must try (if you're a cheese fan) Derby Sage.  It's a hard cheese with sage in it - has the veiny look of a blue cheese, but bright green.  Delicious!!!

Cate is the Derby Sage a cow cheese? My belly says no to cow lactose. I can eat goat or sheep milk though and I've been trying to find a blue goat or sheep cheese. Assuming there IS such a thing... must be, right?

Yay for no more noob badge! I'm getting close - only 44 more posts to go, but I'm sure I'll miss when it happens.

Good things happening to me today: I had my first day of my placement, and I loved it! I like the general attitude at the agency and I'm excited to get to start really doing some work. It was just a good end to a kinda crappy week - I'm not that thrilled with any of this term's classes which I started this week.
